excellent pick in the 5th round.
stout run defender at arkansas.
very good tackler.
not much got passed him.
better vs the run than as a pass rusher.
big.
strong.
excellent pick in rd5.
i really liked our 5th round.

Bohanna was very meh, doesn't play like a 330 pound guy.

Was hopping for more from Bohanna last year but good to add some more competition.

I agree with eveything except your comment about the Razorbacks linebackers. They were very good and one even won a postseason award for being very good.
Maybe the case but they looked pretty bad against Georgia. I wasn't keying in on them but they were over pursuing and taking awful angles throughout the game, leaving wide open running lanes for the Bulldogs to exploit. Granted Georgia did that to lots of teams. Could be overly critical, just calling what I saw.

What’s funny is Bohanna was purported to be an athlete for his size after the draft. I hadn’t looked at his numbers in a while and it’s clear he’s nothing special in terms of relative athleticism.

Sounds like Tyler this year. Everyone talks about his strength. He benched 25 reps at his pro day. Connor Williams got 26 reps at the combine. People are saying Connor held because he was too weak and Tyler won't have that problem. As far as I can tell the only evidence of his strength is him beating up on weak competition.

This^ it’s going to be hard for this kid and Bohanon the numbers don’t add up. Unless hill is getting kicked to curb.
Hill gone wouldn’t bother me at all
But game day is where it gets hard I think

By drafting Ridgeway, and I think they still have hopes for Bohanna. Does this mean Hill is the odd man out, unless he can beat out Watkins.

Since Hill's contract is coming up before Bohanna, is why I give him the edge for now.

DL, DE & DT has become crowded and that is good for TC competition. Or am I over evaluating the talent? As most fans usually do.

I think hill is a waste of a roster spot myself
But he was drafted to be a pass rusher, which he isn’t, but we need someone who can be
Ridge and Bo aren’t gonna rush the passer but I’d rather see them getting reps over hill
They can plug up the inside run and ridge is really good over the center. He keeps the center at arms length and can cover both sides of him to stop the run
I am excited about the speed the new edge guy brings to go along with Micah

Ridgeway is definitely a younger option for the DL. Plus, Ridgeway could spell end for lazy & bust Trysten Hill!

From one year to the next Gallimore looks like a different person . Weight training the facility in Frisco so much better then anything in college . OSA seemed to wear down after an initial fast start. I also like Ridgeway’s attitude .

Your just throwing last round pick numbers at a position and hoping one sticks.

Just like with tackle. They are hoping they hit a home run with either Wolensky or Ball at tackle.

Farniok and Biadasz. Just need one to be good.
Ridgeway isn’t just a late throw in prospect, many media scouts had him as a top 100 player

Agreed. But again, they throw low round picks at the 1 tech. Cowboys simply dont respect that position. We have also seen it with the safety.

Jerry like pass rush and doenst like stopping the run.

Probably figures his offense will score big points.

Our hope is Dan Quinn, couldn’t remember 2 330 type players since Parcells

I love it. Gotta figure this is trysten hills last year with us. DT is thin with no talent. Rotating bohanna and ridgeway in at 1t is great.

Bohanna was lost in technique and scheme last season. It's why he was inactive so often and only in on short yardage. Hope hes been studying and training hard.
