Just stop with celebrities, influencers, etc. announcing picks. These guys are hogging for clout and it’s embarrassing.

I thought Ed Marinaro was going to relive his days as a middle school RB until the tight dress came out told him to read the damm pick already . It’s the Vikings who cares .

The 2022 draft.

I expected better from Las Vegas, but all in all not bad. I may have missed it, but there were no great moments.

I watched ESPN and I did enjoy the early quick pick by pick analysis, but the fade in and out the magic tricks, blue man, and concerts just didn’t mesh for me.
I said if Vegas or New Orleans got the draft, it would be the fastest drafts in NFL history. Its about getting to enjoying the city and not being stuck in a civic center or ballroom. Because those cities...

Not to be judgy, but it was lame.
Also, Dallas didn't have its best fans represented there.
Who from the forum was there? Don't lie.

The Bellagio fountains were cool but the whole Vegas vibe was over the top and cheesy.

Am I going deaf or was the sound quality back up band 1986 Doobie Bros ….either an echo or fading . I gave up went to the Ticket mostly . 105.3 with the guy who scouted 30 yrs ago , the supporting cast they gave him was like a Detroit Lions podcast . 3rd string . Hitzges & Sturm were at least relevant .

my problem with the draft is the production...showy stuff.
just bring back the helmet phones....and give me mel and his board.....louis riddick and anyone other than greeny or reece davis.
no long hallmark moments.
no showy crap.
no live music.
no soap box preaching.
just helmet phones..
mel on the white board...
louis riddick on pick analysis...
and no trey wingo or mike greeny or reece davis.
please and thank you.

We just got back from Vegas. IT WAS AWESOME. I wish I knew how to upload pics on here from my phone. We partied with Donovan McNabb Weds night for 5 hours. Met Kurt Warner, Andrew Whitworth, Chris Mortenson, saw the Pittsburgh wrestler, Deebo Samuel at a lobby bar, and Dez was smoking a j in some bushes by our hotel according to a guy in the elevator. LOL. We drank beers right next to where ESPN was filming the draft show at the beer garden. The comraderie of all the fans together was amazing, we had a great time!

Maybe since the last time the Draft was in Dallas, the actual outcomes of big games were decided from sports books in Vegas, this time the Draft is in Vegas and the outcomes of the games are decided at Jerry World, by players and not officials.

Donny Osmond and Wayne Newton were announcing picks. Wayne Newton is looking scary these days. One more cosmetic procedure and he’ll be completely unrecognizable.

Including the rich & famous, along with the ordinary people representing teams, charities, military, and first responders --- are now part and parcel of how the NFL expands it popularity among the populace that are not hard-core pro football fans.
Season kickoff specials....through the Super Bowl pregame & halftime performances.
A few years ago, I attended a Giants-Cowboys game at AT&T.
Famed restaurateur and Food Network shows series host Guy Fieri did a cooking presentation onsite.
Dislike \ hate it all you want....it's here to stay.
A recourse to avoid it - just view the Cowboys' (and other teams') draft selections the following day online.
Honestly, I feel like as they’ve made the draft more mainstream, it’s really killed the vibe. It used to be more of a hardcore event where you got in-depth analysis of each team and pick.

Now, it’s reminds me of ESPN as a whole. It’s all fluff and pegantry with very little analysis and substance.

This year felt completely off for me. Didn’t enjoy it much at all.
That's the whole point for the NFL. For all this fluff crap that we hate as hard core fans, they are getting more casual fans than losing hardcore ones. That makes money for them. It's one of the few things I give that clown commissioner credit for.
