The AJ Brown trade was brilliant for the Titans. I wish the Cowboys had their thought process

Or FO doesn't do trades of free agency, for the most part. It's their business plan. We can't really expect them to go crazy because they don't even try to think outside the box.

Maybe the truth is, they know better to think outside the box, the box the fans are in. Because this team would win no more than 3 games a year. If they went by what the fans want.
They think outside as well inside the box. Just not to most fans liking. hence the dislike post all the time.

The Dolphins had the Texans 2021 1st from the Tunsil trade.
If the Cowboys offered Dak, for their 5th overall and the other first they got from the Texans, they would have more than likely taken the deal.

See no confusion. It's not hard, it just takes a little more effort.

Dak couldn't spell "Elite" if you spotted him the E-L-I-T-E. Dakota's true colors came to a head in the second half of last season and the DCs he went up against OWNED him, they forced Dakota to think in the pocket and the rest was history. "One and done" is his new nick name or he could be known as "3 and out", this coming year he'll demand a trade but there won't be any takers.................... Ha-Haaaa!

At least he could spell better than most haters on here. :lmao:

If you notice, a lot of these teams that have quarterbacks on big contracts, are sending their WRs that need to be paid big money to teams with QBs on rookie deals.

I think Tannehill is a 38m cap hit this year. I guess they could have paid brown as long as they move on from Tannehill after this season.

Yep. its hard to have a qb making 40 million, a wr making 23 million, a DE making 20 million......
Cant wait to see Cooper Kupp get a new deal soon....lol

AJ Brown is good but not elite similar to Dak. The WR is exploding so instead of paying elite money for a good player they traded him and replaced him with a similar player on a rookie contract + got an additional 3rd round pick. There is no guarantee Burks will be a Pro Bowl WR but teams have to trust their scouting (including scouting their own players). In the 2020 draft the Dolphins were aggressively trying to move up from the 5th pick to the 1st pick in order to draft Burrow. They were willing to sell the farm. If the Cowboys offered Dak for the 5th pick and maybe the Texans 2021 1st round pick they would have likely agreed to the deal. We could have selected Herbert with the 2020 5th overall pick and been in a much better situation.

Problem with AJ Brown is that he seems to always have something nagging him and that really popped up last season and it made his production decline greatly.

what makes him elite? I have not seen what others seen to this point, but I haven't watched much of him
He is a match up nightmare for a DB. He is strong and will manhandle most DBs trying to stop him 1 on 1.
He has played in 43 of 48 regular season games. he was dinged up last year and missed 3 games..... no biggie. Happens to Wrs.

If you look at top 10 Wrs stats last year, most of those guys are getting 150 plus targets.
Brown had 103 and 104 in the previous 2 seasons. He has very little downside IMo..... except wanting a huge contract...lol

They could have selected Herbert or just as easily selected Tua and been a 5-6 win team.

just stop please stop nonsensical posts please go be titans fan OP we wish you well..i bet you wont whine about their lack of playoff sucess and zero SB wins EVER.

Throughout their history, the Titans have played in the Super Bowl once (XXXIV), when they lost 23–16 to the St. Louis Rams. Led by Steve McNair and Eddie George, the Titans made the playoffs in all but one season from 1999 to 2003, but only made the playoffs twice in the next thirteen years.

over all record Record (W-L-T):
463-480-6

Playoff Record: 17-23

recently 3 straight playoff losses, sure one AFCCG appearance but a loss.. right no driought to see here lol

Jerry 3 sb wins, titans zero
another dak hate thread and such an ignorant comp for sure you don't compare how a team handled a wr vs a qb..:huh:

. the AC trade was what you would compare it too because paying 35mil to the Tannehill is out of range for his talent...that etam was susucessful because of the run game foirst..no comparison. when we lost our run game lat inthe season is when we struggle.

dak is better then Brown thats a fact those trolls above saying different also some clueless fans..

I like Herbert but who knows if the Cowboys even would have picked him. The knock on him was does he love football since I believe he got an engineering degree. He wasn’t really heavily recruited coming out high school. They also said he gets rattle to easily but any rookie qb can be. With that being said, I would take but who knows with this FO.
stop the Herbert nonsense, if we blame dak for lack of team sucess

15-17 record

Justin Herbert has a 15-17 record in his career.
dak was 13-3 and a playoff berth as rookie with Garett as his HC. Debate
over.

now ,lets stop the nonsense

So the usuals whine that they take risks, then they whine they did not take any risks....typical...
I am not whining simply pointing out an obvious change by the front office.
No need to be critical of others here.
This is an opinion forum ?

Parsons is elite. No way to trading him. Diggs is very good but will likely be overpaid.
