It’s not Dak or Cedee Lamb or a healthy Michael Gallup or a more involved Tony Pollard.

In my view, there are two players who hold the key to improving our offense next season. They are both named Smith. Tyron and Tyler.
If Tyler is capable of handling LG competently AND Tyron is healthy at LT all season, we have a chance for a much improved offense. Tyron hasn’t played a full season since 2015, so maybe we can only hope for something like 12-14 games.

Skill position players are always listed as the most important on the offense. They get the headlines and highlights. But I guarantee you every skill position player we have- Dak, Lamb, Zeke, Pollard, Gallup…whoever- will only be as successful as the offensive line who blocks for them. As this OL goes, so goes the offense.

I don’t care how good your skill position people are- with a bad OL, you can’t be a good offense. With a below average OL, there’s no running game followed by a weakened passing game where the defense can just rush the passer.

So an improved offense this year starts with the Smith boys.

They gotta get the run game right.

That's easy early on when Zeke has a head of steam and theres no film on Moores new wrinkles.....

But............well you know the rest.

Rookie Smith and Biadasz are my vote. Not to mention whoever is our RT.

As we move along Tyler gets better as Tyron gets physically beat up.

How do we look come January? That's what makes it worth watching sir!

It’s not likely we can improve on our #1 offense . Most likely it lessens . We reduced the talent level. It has to decline.

i love the tyler smith pick.
i think our run game got fixed the second he stepped off that bus.
i'm excited to see this incarnation of our oline.
to me,collins just didnt seem the same guy post contract extension/post car accident...while i have been impressed with terrence steele since his rookie year.
tyler smith was one of my favorite ot's from the draft and i think he'll do the job at og.
tyron is one of my favorite cowboys.
still plays at an all-pro level.
if he can stay healthy and tyler plays upto realistic expectations...this oline could be better than last season for sure.
which should help us be a better team.
season can't start fast enough.

I don’t expect much out of other. Tyrone body is just breaking down, can not see that changing. We drafted a penalty prone left guard…and I see no evidence that we are getting good coaching anywhere on the offensive side of the ball. I think our only chance is if Quinn reproduces what Seattle’s D had, but we don’t have a Russell Wilson or Pete Carroll.

The QB always holds the key to improving the offense. When Dak was at the top of his game early last season our offense was rolling. He needs to get back on track this season. However our OL and running game is going to play a big part in that.

Refresh my memory.... didn't a team with a sorry o'line just play in the super bowl?

Burrow found a way to make plays but Dak gets the bad o'line excuse?

It's all Dak and the excuses need to stop. We had a stacked team with depth and talent last year, also as healthy as can possibly be and still couldn't get out of the first round.

I say OC Moore is vital too.
His first season as OC left me underwhelmed.

To truly improve, we must run the ball. That’s on the OL.
