Conner Williams and Conner McGovern weren’t his players…this regime didn’t pick those scrubs. He’s developed Terrence Steele nicely. And John Owning is an idiot…PFF guy who’s never played a down in his life.

Gregory wasn't DQ's player either.

Neither was Diggs or Tank.

I've been critical of Joe Philbin the past 2 years he's been in Dallas. At times, the Oline has played ok, but overall, it has regressed. Look no further than our running game. It has declined year by year the past 2 years Joe Philbin has been Oline Coach. He either straightens it out this year, or it's time to look for a new Oline Coach.

Don't discount KM's responsibility in this too.

His technique ISNT that bad
His technique is terrible
I’m not convinced he can play tackle but we will see. He strikes me as a guy who will put in the work which is key
But I’ve watched a lot of video of him since the draft. I didn’t before because I didn’t expect green and Zion to be gone
He’s strong and physical but lacks refinement
On the other hand the Waz kid is kinda the opposite

erry forcing Connors down everones throat. . . He is not a Guard never was and Never Will be. .

This^^^^^ maybe the problem isn't Phil. Sure he's an easy scapegoat but he's been coaching OLines for 20+ years. Keep in mind he's only in his second year but if we're being honest, this OLine had issues long before Phil. In fact, you can argue this OLine hasn't been elite since Frank Pollack (2015-2017). Demarco Murray and Zeke won rushing titles under his watch. He was followed by Paul Alexander won was followed by Marc Columbo after a one-year disaster.

Remember we just got rid of Connor Williams and Collins. How we Phil didn't wanna replace one or both last year both have zero authority coz it's Stephen Jones's call which players are cut, especially ones still under contract. In other words, we as fans never hear of players coaches are forced to keep and make it work the best they can coz GM/owner won't approve their release but some, perhaps many do work together but not here, at least not as much we'd like. Any financial decision involving players' contracts is made a one-person .........Stephen Jones.

I think Phil has been OK developing players. Biadiaz comes to mind as a 4th round pick and Steele as an undrafted FA. If these guys continue to improve and we hit on Tyler Smith the line will be considerably better than in recent memory.

We still need another position player on the offensive line depending on where Tyler ends up.Looking at the players in house I think it could be a guard in the next draft.

I didn’t say he couldn’t but he’s a long ways from being ready to play tackle in the nfl. You have power rushers, speed rushers, guys with an array of moves and guys who use setups to get by the tackle. Technique is crucial at LT
That’s what he has to get down pat to be a success
He is strong and plays with an attitude. He’s only 21 and he is gonna get even stronger and learn to control that attitude in a positive way
I think he can be a monster guard and has a chance to play tackle but he needs a lot of work to play tackle
I hope he can be a LT because it’s what best for him and the team
I hope this camp we let him learn guard because that’s where he is likely to be the starter this year, then start working him as a tackle after he’s learned guard
