.........reminds of the days when I cared about baseball.

Sad but true. A lot of great memories in that old Arlington stadium dump but baseball meant something back then. I remember sitting by first base a few of Ryan’s games and just being blown away by how powerful he threw even when warming up. At the time I was a teenage pitcher who thought he had the stuff to pitch in the big leagues, so it was like watching god warm up. The way he got everything out of that wind up and those Texas horse legs was impressive.

Early 90’s Ranger games at Arlington Stadium were great, we would get to the stadium before 4 and wouldn’t even have to pay the $4 to park because the attendant wasn’t there yet. You could move down easily as the crowd filtered out by the away team’s bullpen and watch some JAG throw his 86mph fastball lol
