I think that it makes sense to have a team loaded with 1st and 2nd year players with the way the league is currently set up. It caught my eye that the Cowboys are trying to build the team that way.
Interesting plan cap wise, just puts a lot of pressure on your scouting department and player development.

I think it’s possible though.

I've been on that wall too long.
Or maybe I've never been on that wall and I'm a 5'4" prosecuting attorney with severely good looks a few decades ago.

Story of my life. At least I'm not that short.
Good things come in small packages .

since mccarthy's arrival...both of his draft classes made the team that year.
'20...'22.
will it be 3 in a row?
i wouldn't bet against it.

I think that all of the draft picks will make it. That will give them 8 and 1 on the PUP list to start the season and I think that 3 UDFA guys will make it. I think that Garibay, Bell, and the center from Boston College will make it. That will give them around 20 players that are in their 1st or 2nd year and they should have around 9 draft picks next year and Clark will be on the team as well. I like how they are loading up with the young players,

If practice squads are kept the same as the last two years, I think a few of those players will end up there.

Let me see ...

QB: Prescott, Rush, Grier/DiNucci (3)
RB: Elliott, Pollard, Nall/Dowdle/Shampklin/Davis/Ralston (3)
WR: Lamb, Gallup (probably PUP'ed), Washington, Tolbert, Brown, Fehoko/Vasher/Smith/Drummond/Fryfogle/Houston (5 or 6)
TE: Schultz, Ferguson, McKeon (3)
OL: Tyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Martin, Steele, Waletzko, Farniok, Lindstrom, McGovern, Ball (10)
That's 25 or 24 on offense, if Gallup is PUP'ed and we don't carry a sixth receiver.

DE: Lawrence, Armstrong, Williams, Fowler, Golston, Basham (6)
DT: Gallimore, Watkins, Odighizuwa, Ridgeway, Bohanna, Hill (6)
LB: Parsons, Cox, Vander Esch, Gifford, Harper, Clark (PUP) (5)
CB: Diggs, Joseph, Brown, Lewis, Wright, Bland, Goodwin (7)
S: Kearse, Hooker, Wilson, Mukuamu, Bell (5)
That's 29, but I can see Hill being cut, so that would be 28.

K: Garibay/Naggar
P: Anger
LS: McQuaide
That's a total of 57 or 55 (with five receivers and Hill cut). Who else you cutting? Numbers say 12 DBs is too many. The other cut area would likely have to be either DL or OL.

The LB from OKST isn’t anything special

He has one of the least resistant paths. If Clark starts off on PUP, Harper would be the fifth linebacker unless he's beaten out by the likes of Devante Bond, Aaron Hansford or Storey Jackson.
