Are we sure Ferguson can’t be a star?

Ferguson looks like a less athletic Jarwin to me and he’ll never have a big role once Schultz is paid.
If they sign Schultz to some ridiculous 4 for 50 million deal to pacify Prescott as his panic check down guy then I just may quit for a while.

Are we sure ferguson can’t be a star? They say he’s not quick but has the best hands? How do we know he can’t be the Fitzgerald or m Irvin of tight ends? They weren’t fast.

His 40 time is slow but his other (more relevant) times were somewhere in the 95-99 percentile.

He could be a really good player for us.

Biggest knock they had on him was the expectations were sky high after his first year in college, but he just kinda stayed the same. As I understand it he wasn't really in an offense with qbs to showcase his talent either.

Thats what I got off of the Locked On podcast at least.

No one has a crystal ball we’re not sure about anything with any of these players we drafted. Ferguson could end up being terrific or a bust. He may end up being only serviceable. That goes for every player we drafted. The draft is a roll of the dice.

Ferguson should have been Charlie Kolar but the Ravens knew the Cowboys draft strategy as good as they did.

:lmao:
That was the theme throughout the draft. Every team knew what we were going to do. So they picked a player ahead of us that they knew we wanted to spite us. That was what many posted or some version of it.

wow.

I won’t draw any conclusions from any player, will wait to see how the do. Just as last years draft, still waiting to see how a few do this year. Sometimes they make that big leap, sometimes it takes another year, sometimes not at all.

I'd rather have picked Jelani Woods in the second round and Jalen Wydemyer in the 6th or as a ufa. Both guys were there for the taking. It makes me I'll.

We knew all the best tes would be gone before we picked in round 3.

Wydermymer from A&M wasn't even drafted. But got picked up by Buffalo as a ufa. Buffalo is gonna be a powerhouse this year.

Woods scored a TD on every 5 1/2 passes and put up the best combine #'s

These were the most athletic receiving tes in the draft imo.

Woods came in for a 30 visit

I'm not sure why we didn't get him on pick #2.
