#1 build and OL that can stay healthy and be consistent. hardest group in the world to shuffle around and be consistent. they play as one and flow like tides together..when you have to constantly shuffle the oline to cover up missing players its not a recipe for success.
I can't definitively say it was THEE problem last year, but things did indeed go south on offense once they started messing with the OL lineup. I dont blame them for wanting to play who they thought were better players, but the chemistry thing is apparently very real on an OL.

Not recommending this necessarily, but it occurs to me that Pollard came into the league considered a hybrid RB/WR by many.

Count me as one of those uncomfortable with going from Cooper/Gallup/Lamb as our primary 3 receivers to Lamb/3rd Rd Draft Pick/Replacement-Level FA to start the year. So, I'm pretty firmly in the camp of those who want to see another addition to the WR room, maybe a Cole Beasley or a Keelan Cole.

But let's say that doesn't happen.

Think KM would look to incorporate Pollard more into the passing game as a receiver. Not suggesting he would be a full-time receiver, but that perhaps the idea would be to fill the Gallup void "by committee," with Pollard being a prominent member of that committee.... ??? (Yes, that's a question, not a statement wrapped in a question. :) )
I think Pollard has been inadequately used by the Cowboys throughout his career here. Pollard should have been on the field a majority of the snaps. I would have used Pollard in an Edelman role as Dak’s security blanket. He has way more speed and juice than Schultz.

Seems worth noting that this (above) was the question... hehehe...

Which... no offense to any one, but... isn't the same as asking about adding a vet (which was dismissed in the premise before the question), nor the same as asking if Pollard could be Deebo (related, I get that, but Deebo is a WR who is always on the field and occasionally gets RB plays run for him... discernibly different from asking whether Pollard could be incorporated into a temporary bullpen-by-committee for whatever time Gallup is out).

when we end the season missing the playoffs your ilk will be lining up to make excuses for your boi Dak saying “well he was missing Gallup for the first 3 games so what do you expect “ LOL
1)Many don’t believe we’ll miss the playoffs.
2)”excuses” or genuine “reasons? Depends on the agenda.
3)We’re all just speculators, most just hoping for the best. Our “ilk” is Cowboy fans, right?

And if Dak plays well, you'll still find something to nit pick and keep hating on him. Homers support, haters hate.....it is what it is.

your post already has the usual excuses built into it

“plays well”

all great QBs are judged on their post season success. Tgat is a fact. Yet Dak homies want to judge him based on his stat padding

how about we agree right that if Dak leads us to the NFCCG in 2022 (I’m not even saying win it) I will agree that Dak is a great QB and paid approximately but if he doesn’t you will agree that he’s just an overpaid mediocre QB?

Deal?

I bet you won’t agree and will find up with the usual excuses

Getting the ball in the hands of playmakers is the key to success
Pollard should be used more as a receiving threat though most would likely be out of backfield and shirt, quick passes
He’s a playmaker
Just get the ball in his hands as many ways as possible

It doesn't matter if Gallup is out or not, Pollard should still see time in the slot. He is a mismatch Moore needs to take advantage of every game.
Can only imagine how many OC's dream of being in Moore's shoes. Unfortunately, with all those weapons, he STILL can't utilize anything decent. Thus, he's exposed several times during the season.

Tolbert is not your typical WR coming from college. He's only 3 yrs younger than Gallup and should be ready to produce this 1st year. I'm good running out Lamb, Tolbert and Washington to start the season.
