Sounds like he will be okay, imagine getting hit, if you do its a good thing its by a billionaire, imagine the settlement.

We all rag on Jerry from time to time when it comes to his performance as GM of the team, but man, he seems like a very sincere human.

Even in the aftermath of that accident, he was personally out shaking hands and talking with the other driver and the first responders. I really respect that.

He comes across as very personable and has a great sense of humor.

For as much as some of us dislike him as a GM, he's great for the game of football.

So I saw the video. It’s a bad accident. Jerry really t-boned that other car. He was driving a nice Mercedes and had to have his seatbelt on. If not he could have been really hurt. Looks like Jerry was going too fast but the other car is making a left hand turn from right lane. Cut right in front of Jerry. Bad accident.

In all seriousness, that was a little harder than I was expecting when it was listed as "minor". That was a good thump. Must have sucked to be the other driver knowing that you are at-fault and seeing who the other person is. Not a chance he'd ever get out of it even if the video didn't exist.

It almost looked like the guy either stopped in the middle of the road in front of Jerry. You think it's possible he recognized him and saw $$$? Lemme speed up past him.. make a stupid turn in front of him and stop in the middle of the turn to make sure he hits me.. then I can shake him down for half a million in court. He's luck Jerry WASN'T speeding because getting t-boned like that at high speed is a long stay in the hospital or a short trip to the morgue.

Ok, with everyone walking around and talking makes me feel a lot better. I'm still glad he went to the hospital as a precaution but he didn't look like he was in any pain, or if he was the pain was minor. Thank God cyz that could have been bad. Feel better soon Jerry.

Dam, that is a wicked t-bone hit.............everybody is very lucky to walk away from this.

I will also say that some of the comments I have seen on Twitter and other places wishing Jerry would not have walked away from this are disgusting.

This is a just a game people, nothing more. Now if the fact that the Cowboys have not won a SB in over 25 years makes you so mad that you wish the owner was not here anymore, then maybe you need to take a step back and reevaluate your life and start making some changes.
