When his not gold brickin Hill makes some noise. Unless he’s beat out let him play on his rookie deal

Defensive End

DLaw
Armstrong
Fowler
Sam Williams
Golston (Has inside/outside flex)

Basham (Could be fighting with Hill for the last spot)

Defensive Tackle

Gallimore
Osa
Watkins (Do they keep the veteran or go with the 2 prospects?)
Ridgeway/Bohanna

Hill

DE: Lawrence, Armstrong, Fowler, Williams, Basham, Golston
DT: Gallimore, Watkins, Odighizuwa, Ridgeway and Bohanna

Golston and Bohanna would be my bubble guys, but since they were drafted last year, they'd have to virtually show nothing in order to be cut. Basham and Watkins were primary contributors last year. Can't see them being cut.

Trystan Hill reminds me of a 13-year-old who constantly gets sent to detention.

I think he makes the roster and then gracelessly leaves after this year.

In a serious point, what would be the benefit of keeping Hill on the 53 man roster? What would he give the team that anyone else can’t?

He’s not good enough to start, and no one expects any real potential to develop in which he sticks around past this year. Take a chance on the UDFA

Think it's unrealistic to carry 3 players who offer zero pass rush and only play 20% of the time.

hill can flex to both 3 tech and 1 tech ..hill is the better player than Bo
.bohanna simply has to show up this summer...

if ridgeway shows promise, then we have two 1 techs, in watkins, ridgeway... while hill can flex to both DT spots ...

Who do I got I got the same as we got a bunch of average players other than the guy who plays linebacker half the time.

It's who we don't have that bothers me and that's Jordan Davis and it's who snuck up and snatched him out from under us that bothers me our division rival.

Mark my words that guy's going to make us wish we figured it out a way to draft him for the next 10 years as we suffer with him stopping our run game and pressuring our pocket

Easy...keep the best 10 from TC and then keep two young guys on the PC... Time to get rid of guys who don't perform. Get young, get cheap, get real for the future.

No reason for them to prolong the mistake of drafting Trysten Hill.

Send the bill to one Rod Marinelli.
Yep. Unless he plays like they expected in their draft day fantasies in training camp, he needs to find a new home.

Nobody is guaranteed a roster spot, but I think Watkins is just a bridge player, think they would like to keep both prospects. As for Hill, think the staff is higher on him then the fanbase, but I think it's a numbers game now. Both Gallimore/Osa also can play either spot, however, who do they have if 1 goes down? Think the spot could come down to Hill or Basham. Basham, like Watkins is more of a bridge player, but Hill doesn't look to be apart of the team's future core.

  • DE Locks: Lawrence, Williams, Armstrong, Golston
  • DT Locks: Odigizuwa, Gallimore
  • Likely: Bohanna, Ridgeway, Hill, Wakins, Fowler, Basham
I think they all make it and there's a fair chance we carry 11/12 depending on injuries through the season.

With the IR rules since Covid, they'll manage to protect more than 53 players.

Well actually and let's face it realistically certain players are guaranteed a roster spot - ala Parson and Diggs...

Watkins is a vet who has now been in Quinn's system. He's decent at best, but he's really far
more suited as a rotation guy.- he's just not a difference maker.

We are needing players who can change and alter how offense have to play against us.
People like prime Snack Harrison, Vita Vea, ..they change how you want to run the ball, they
force you to detour outside on the edges when its impossible to run inside.

You simply cannot out muscle- out physical them, .. we'll have that problem with Philly's Jordan Davis
and Hargrove now ..
