Exactly, and maybe those saying that should evaluate priorities and what's really important. Sports are fun, but not life.

Apparently so. Lifted the smaller car off the ground. Seatbelts are the only thing that prevented worse injury.

Say the video..wasn't his fault..the other car was in the far right lane, he make a quick turn left, Jerry was in the middle lane...after turning left, the other car slowed down....

That was pretty awful. It looked to me like Jerry did not use his brakes, but with anti-lock breaks it is hard to tell.

Looks like the nose of Jerry's car was dipping down just prior to the crash, indicating braking.
Slo-mo video, but in real time, I'm guessing he had about 2-3 seconds of reaction time. Hard to put any culpability on Jones.
Maybe about 25 MPH or less at impact.
Damage to the silver car was not a high speed crash.

Actually if you watch closely you can see Jerry's brake lights are on right up to the point of impact and then go off a second after.

You must not have watched this very well. They are travelling on a one way street and the guy made a left turn from the right hand lane into Jones' path.

It looked to me that the other car was coming out of the intersecting road from Jerry's right?
Could be wrong and it would not be the first time

clearly looks like the other person fault turning in front of him.. hard to tell without seeing the lights but sure looks like the straight traffic were flowing and the other car made an unprotected turn across Jerrys lane..

BTW i still unsure why this is a story ,,i mean car accidents happen every 30 secs im sure but not post worthy, no one died did they?

The driver in the other car got the worst end of it. The impact was directly on the driver side. Lucky they weren’t seriously injured or killed.

Very odd how a car can make a left turn in front of another car traveling in the same direction.
- That car must have turned left from the right lane.

Any word on if Jerry was driving?
