Smart "no move" by Jerry & Stephen. Cowboys used that money elsewhere to keep 5+ other veteran players. Besides, Cowboys now have rookie Edge rusher Sam Williams to pair up with Micah.

Does anyone care about these 'almost got em' stories? Bobby Wagner suposedly 'almost came here' as well. That's the best we can hope in this new, 'frugal' regime. We can use our imaginations to picture talented free agents playing here.

Why would anyone ever go to Buffalo? Never been there but if any Hollywood movie ever taught us one thing, then that this must be the worst place in the US, no?

If Dallas can't afford Miller, it's gonna really hurt when Parsons hits the FA market. No doubt there will be offers that break the market.
Most of our great players move on and win SBs.

That would have saved the off-season but Stephen told daddy no and jumped into a pile of 20’s.

Honestly Miller is good but got severely overpaid plus old. The Joneses made the right choice here. I'd rather have Armstrong, Lawrence, Fowler and Williams. Signing high-priced free agents on the decline is a mistake we tend to avoid and thankfully we avoided making the very similar mistake in overpaying Randy Gregory.

Von would probably have given us 13-15 sacks this year. His contract was $17M per years for three years. Spawn of Satan probably offered $11M. Miller owns a chicken farm in TX and would love to come back home. Unfortunately Jerry owns the Cowboys.

dont believe son offered him any where near the amount he got from buffalo

well yeah. I'd imagine his market wasn't that robust initially and we made a compelling offer, and then buffalo went way way over the top.

His cap hits average out to 15M a year for 3 years. Not that bad. I just think he's way too old. But I wouldn't be surprised if he had one good year left in him.

Are you anticipating he hits free agency? Forget Parsons, Diggs is up for extension after this year. His market value, 22M. Good thing his big cap hits won't happen until around 2025.

Miller was just too old to pay the top dollar to. Would have loved to have gotten him for a couple of years but the money was too rich.
I hope our guys can get the sacks but so far no one has.
