What Kind of Start Would it Take to bench the QB?

This is purely hypothetical. And for us, we think, at least, worst case scenario.

I think there could be some discussion about it if the Cowboys happen to start 0-3.

But what kind of start would it take for the Cowboys to bench Dakota?

Do you think it's possible that he loses three games in a row, to start, and then remains a starter?

I HE loses them all by himself, then 3 games sounds about right...but, if the TEAM loses the games, that's different.....bad defense, bad blocking, bad coaching, dropped balls etc, can't be blamed on Dakota

I don’t care if the Cowboys start off 0-8 they’re not benching Dak. It’s not like we have someone behind him that excites anyone. If we get off to a rough start it won’t be because of him. Some of you can keep hoping all you want that he’ll end up on the bench but it’s not going to happen.

There’s never been a point where Dak has played poorly enough to where he should be benched. Although his play dropped off the second half of last season it wasn’t to the level where anyone was saying maybe we should take a look at Cooper Rush. He gives us the edge over the teams in our division because none of them have a QB of his caliber. I’m sure plenty of his haters will be pulling against him, hoping he’ll cost us games because that’s the kind of idiots we have here. They’ll take losing every week if they think it will lead to changes with the team and at QB.

Never understood worst case hypothetical scenarios, why is it so hard to think that we may get out to a good start, and heaven forbid, even a good finish. Is it really that hard to have a little hope? You guys can go Doom and gloom if you want, I'll be hoping for the best as always.

Let's go Cowboys :flagwave:

Multiple awful pick sixes and some 2010 Green Bay/Jacksonville disasters.

Bench him for who? Cooper? A benched Dak means the Cowboys are tanking and not hiding it. And you think after 0-3 the Cowboys may raise the white flag?
