With picks like Taco and Trysten Hill and that entire stellar 3rd round last year why would you want to risk any changes?

It's a special group of scouts that allowed us to recognize those rare 7th round traits of Nashon Wright a whole 4 rounds before the rest of the NFL!

I mean, they really do a great job.

I heard a Stephen Jones interview with Mike Florio after the draft. In it he states "while we haven't had success as of late" in defense of the way they do things.

I realized that if you're using the timeline of the history of the Earth he's right. The lack of any success has been only very recently and that I should learn to be more patient.

This forum had to be the weirdest when it comes to Cowboys FO/coaches/players media comments.

Did y’all expect him to say he wants to make changes to the coaching staff right now? What FO person in the history of everdom would insinuate he’s not happy with the coaching staff at this point in the off-season.

Even if he wants a change, why the heck would he say that to the media in May?

What do y’all expect him to say lol, he’s not even the GM.

When you got it going on like this you don't want to rock the boat.

Plus the draft process is our only strength, it's practically our only source .. so long as stephen jones simply does not believe in signing big name, big money
" middle -ground" FA market guys..

Whoever is scouting NT needs another job.

Or bigger balls.

may not be scouting .. maybe who upper management allows or will not allow, so it dampers what scouts would much more prefer.
Its a reason why we continue to have low regards for 1 tech and safeties ...

A completely ignorant view. What you need to do is look at all of their draft picks and compare to the rest of the league. Adding in Parsons, Lamb, and Diggs along with other good picks on the team makes them look a lot better which is why they were so dominant in the division last year. They have an excellent scouting staff.

Please change title to 'The guy who said Reggie Robinson II was a top sleeper, Trysten Hill was a top 60 player and that T.J. Watt didn't fit but Taco Charlton did, wants no changes to the scouting staff'.

Was this a case of the scouting staff failing or coaches who became overly attached to "pet cats" and a HC who was not prepared to override his coordinators and position coaches?
