I don’t have time to look it up right now but I bet Dallas also has the most money dedicated to the QB position in the division.

I think with a good off-season Dak comes back strong focused and ready to lead the team.
Hopefully we have done enough with the offensive line to keep him upright healthy and give him enough time to read defenses so he doesn't lose his confidence.

All that said if Dak refuses to run with open ground in front of him and decides to try and play Peyton Manning I'm done.

I want to see the old Dak who was willing to do whatever it took to move the chains and lead the team.

What good is being the best QB in a pile of trash? None of them have had much playoff success. None of them have led their teams to back to back division wins. Dak king of the trash for the last 6 years and counting. We all heard this before too. No more manning....well own the division, false. No more cousins, well own the division! False again. Wentz left and same thing. Now it's most of the big name QB's went to the AFC, dakky poo will own the NFC....lol he can't own a weak division much less the entire NFC. After 6 years it's fact. Looks good on paper but nothing to show for it.

I agree there's a gap between Dak and the rest however I don't understand the Hurts love. While Minshew doesn't have the downfield arm talent most teams want his limited time play he's shows he has good scrambling ability, decision making, and his upside he gets the ball out quick.

Jones is kind of hard to place. Has played behind argurably one of if not the worst OL in football the majority of his career. When he has time to throw he seems like a decent/good passer. Kid got thrown into a **** show

Wentz...Philly just mentally broke that dude for reals. Highly doubt he returns to anywhere near what he showed earlier in his career.

AC is never going to pass up an opportunity to prop up his hero, no matter how trivial the stat might be. This is all you really need to know.

Good: Cowboys have the best starting QB in the division.

Bad: Cowboys have the worst backup QB in the division.

What say you?

PS: Should Cowboys look to upgrade their backup QB, or are you satisfied keeping Cooper Rush as Dak's backup?

Dak Prescott.

Carson Wentz
Daniel Jones
Gardner Minshew
Taylor Heinicke
Cooper Rush
Jalen Hurts

Yes, I'll take Cooper Rush over Jalen Hurts. I think Jalen is utter trash. If we have Hurts, we don't win that game against Minnesota. I don't like or value QBs that don't go through progressions and take off the second their first read isn't there. He's a more athletic Johnny football.

I would probably have Jones at 6. Taylor and Minshew have both looked better over their careers. Meanwhile, as much as I hate to think it, I almost want to put Wentz at 2 but that is just because I saw what Hirts did (or didn’t do) whenever he was leaned on.
