Clearly that's true. There are a lot more sacks in the NFL every year than INT's. But that doesn't tell the whole story.

A pass rusher can still be very impactful even when he doesn't get a sack because pressure can lead to incompletions and mistakes by the QB.

Diggs needs to understand that about DB as well - that the impact of a DB goes beyond INT's. As outstanding as Diggs is, there are times that he focuses so much on positioning himself for the INT that he is vulnerable to fakes that allow WR's to get open. Sometimes just denying a clear passing lane is the right move.

I agree.....sacks are easier......Teams as a whole can get about 20-30 int's and that is considered elite takeaways

20-30 sacks by a team in a season you're looking at 3-14

how can you lead the
Of course sacks are easier. That’s why sack leaders have more sacks than interception leaders every year. Cowboys led the NFL with 26 sacks in 17 games. TJ Watt had 22.5 sacks all by himself in only 15 games. His team had 55 sacks.
nfl with 26 sacks and then say another team had 55...hmm something doesn't add up

I did that half way through last season
Most are holding total yards allowed against him and that just not the entrioe picture..Hes great and if he starts giving up a few less big lays i can see him being elite..he hasn't arrived as complete DB but for sure hes great..

I would disagree I think both are difficult and really on many things. Maybe INTs because if they don't throw to your guy the odds go way down that you will get an INT
ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about football is laughing his *** off at this really stupid post.

I do not know why this is so controversial ....... its true ....... the greatest DE's get more sacks than the greatest CB's get Int.

Unless you think Tank is better at his job than Primetime was his.

There is far more effort by the offense trying to prevent the sack. Diggs is just flat-out wrong here.

Defensive linemen know where the QB is at all times. CBs don't know where the receiver is going or where the QB will throw the football. Both are difficult but INTs are just more difficult IMO.
