Kearse is a great player and will probably be one of the defense captains again. This fan isn't so ready to replace him anytime soon.

Same.

Kearse isn't going anywhere.

But Cine or someone like Pitre would have been a really nice addition playing along side him.

We make due with our guys.

True, Kearse not only team's best safety and nickel LB, he also wore the green dot.

But I like Bell's versatility, physicality, speed and size.

He makes the final roster imo.

Sean Taylor ability .. yet went undrafted ?

- Seems like the measurements are there 6'4 ., 212 lbs ... 4.41 speed
... but does he play up to those measurements on the playing field ?
Is he a ball hawk ?.... 1 one INT in 2021

- He may need to be on a practice squad or special teams on NFL roster for before he can emerge.
My expectations are low risk/high reward.

- Cowboys coaches got far more out of special teams core guy Jayvon Kearse than anyone ever imagine.
Maybe in due time, Bell can follow that same pathway .

Some feel he shouldn't have went undrafted.

If he had Sean Taylor type ability he would've been a top on the first round draft pick.
But he is one I think makes the team.

I could see that, but scouts sometimes may miss things, especially with smaller school players like this one. So, who knows? Gotta get them on the field to find out.

I like his numbers, as in height, weight and speed.
Many additions to this year's team, hope some of them pan out and give the Boys a boost and edge.
Lots of love lately for lower draft picks and UDFAs.

Hoping this kid impresses and make the team. I coached with a guy who says he's a cousin of his(confirmed by my wife who is from Bridgeton, NJ) Bell is from Bridgeton, NJ. Heard and read that this guy has some Sean Taylor type ability. Living here in Maryland seeing Taylor play, if this guy is half of what Taylor was we may have found a gem.

He flashed good closing speed and tackling skills, but he’s played little compared to others and is raw, so that’s why he wasn’t drafted. But there does seem to be some potential there.

Can anybody confirm that his wife is really from Bridgeton, NJ?

Bell is extremely multiple and physical. A real disruptor and ball separator.

DQ is going to love using him all over the chess board, could be DB version of Parsons - swiss army knife.

Should back up both Hooker and Kearse, maybe even Jordan Lewis - but make immediate impact on ST.

He must've made a good impression on the staff to be signed so soon.
He has earned a reputation for his speedy and aggressive play! :flagwave:

At 6-3 and 205 lbs., his measurables should appeal nicely to the staff.

The fact that Markquese has displayed ball skills in college may help!

Great prospect. When the guy hits, the runner stops going forward. Havent had a heavy hitter like that on this team since Roy Williams.

I am in NO WAY suggesting he is RW v2.0. i just like the way he tackles aggressively.

I was kind of excited about signing Tyler Coyle last year. At 6-1, 209, he ran a 4.36 40. He's still on the team, but wasn't that impressive last preseason. I think Bell has better tape, though.
