4(129) Khalil Shakir WR Boise St.
5(155) Zyon McCollum CB Sam Houston St.

5(178) Kingsley Enagbare DE South Carolina
6(193) Jamaree Salyer G Georgia

Micah can focus on pass rush, the OL is significantly upgraded, you added a phenom play making LB and the team is tougher to bully. There's not a player in that group that doesn't have potential to start in the league.

But hey, I'm no personnel guru or anything. I was one of the fools that would have drafted T.J. Watt. I didn't see the Taco fit. I trust Will McClay.

I wouldn't have minded a draft like this.

Personally, I think the most talented player who could have upgraded the team would have been Cine.

So, how about Cine, Travis Jones, Faalele?

I could definitely roll with that. But I'm actually starting to think Sam Williams might actually be the steal of this draft.

The more I learn about him, the more I feel like the Cowboys might have known more about him than I..

Round doesn't matter.

Your pick is up, and it's between Nakobe Dean and Sam Williams.

Who do you take and why?

If you tell me Dean doesn’t have injury concerns it’s him my a mile.

He’s a better player at a position of need by about 2 rounds according to almost every big board out there.

But it isn't a position of need. They play primarily with two LBs on the field. They drafted Parsons and Cox just last year and still have LVE. Getting Clark and even Harper later in the draft along with Hansford & Jackson as udfa's make way more sense. Plus the DC seems to prefer bigger, longer, faster LB types.

LVE is on a 1 year deal…Parsons will rush the passer on 3rd down and Cox is more of a nickel/dime LBr.

Dean would see a TON of snaps.

OL was a need, DE was a need, WR was a need, TE was a need

An offball LB was not a need.

Linderbaum.

Tired of Dallas drafting players who are "prospects", have a "high upside" and "needs coaching up".

His technique is sound, plays with tenacity and toughness. Undersized, but how many teams passed on the "undersized' Aaron Donald?

He has months to get bigger and stronger before the season...

Almost this whole board wanted TJ. Atleast pat yourself on the back with a non consensus guy you hyped lol

If you don’t think LBr is a need I would read it that Parsons would be rushing the passer less, we’re 100% certain Cox will be 100% and we don’t think LVE could be upgraded.

That doesn’t even bring into consideration how terrible it is to draft solely for need.

By the way, I got a chance to look at Shakir. Good receiver for sure.

I also like Calvin Austin III. I can't remember if the Steelers picked before or after us. But they cleaned house drafting WRs. Austin is short, as you probably know, but he's a true slot kind of guy. I just think he would have been just as good of a fit. There were so many WRs in this draft, that we didn't have to go WR in the 3rd. So I can agree on that.

It seems like they are always pretty strong there.

A strained pectoral made him fall that far?

You really believe that?

He has the reactionary skills to play for sure. He plays very fast..

But, he's small by NFL standards, and I think teams accounted for that insofar as where he was ultimately drafted.

I just kinda don't think his injury had much to do with it.

But, I admit, you could be right. Only time will tell. I actually thought we may draft Dean in the 2nd, too. But just wasn't in the cards for the Cowboys apparently.

I'd lean more toward what we got, but I've made some good picks and some bad ones over the years. I see that you are only willing to list a good one you would have made.

I 100% believe something injury related made him slide to the 3rd. I thought he was a fringe first rounder and could slide to the 2nd but def not the 3rd. Something off the field is off.

You just have to use him the right way and I think he can be an above average NFL LBr. Play him in the Will to keep him off blocks more and blitz him a lot.

I have doubts about Dean. Only doubts I had about Micah was pass coverage. I have speed, strength, athleticism issues with Dean.

I'm not that big on D Clark either. I think Jabril Cox is better than both

What?

I'm telling you who I would have drafted at each pick considering who was available.

Prescott needs another Beasley type. Shakir can be that. Hopefully Tolbert can too as Lamb and Gallup can't.
