I like DLaw. I don't like the Hotboys stuff, but he always gives it his all and he's a good player on this team.
And with his new deal he's about where he should be paid.

I agree. I like him a lot more now that he’s paid more appropriately. And I give him a ton of credit gut being reasonable with his new deal. That was a win-win.

Tank was a better finsisher when they split him in a 9 gap on the right side on passing. They did that almost exclusively in 2015 when he got 8 and frequently in 2017 and 2018 when he was getting double digits. They stopped doing that in 2019, and since then he hasnt been much of a finisher. It seemed like when he returned Quinn was more willing to line him up wide.

In 2015 when he broke out with 8 sacks, people said he only beat TE's. But that's kinda the idea

Needs to stay healthy and not disappear down the stretch in order for him not to become the fan punching bag. He got his money but at that level semi consistent sacks should be bare minimum expectation

That's why I don't mind when he's on the sideline taking a break. Players who go all out have to be rested to be their most effective. Well, except Micah ... he's a machine.

Love the love Tank is getting in this thread. Can wait till the game day threads when all of you are asking where he is during the game. All the gifs insinuating “Wheres Tank?”. Great times.

Tank is really good player and when healthy a 20-25m per season player. The issue is he's both missed time or when playing the whole season put out some sub-par performances (relative to his best) due to injury. That puts in question his value.

If you told me we were getting a healthy Tank....no complaints. If you're telling me he will play either 10 games or 16 at the level he did when he had a torn labrum....he's worth half what he's worth at his best.
