The team that I think everyone will be watching is Denver. The roster seems to be there.
Can Wilson/Broncos pull off a Stafford/Rams-like playoff run?

I'm also curious about the Saints this year. Not for the SB but just in general.

LOL. Pittsburgh and Green bay away from home come to mind in 2016. Divisional game against Philly in OT. Patriots in OT. Thats 4 right there. Every game in football is big. Of course you want to control the narrative and say win or go home games or playoff seeding lol. Have at it hoss. I am critical of Dak when there is reason to be. But to say hes never won a big game is a joke.
None of those games were after turkey with playoffs on the line and yes the narrative should be controlled since you want to try and throw out New England...sub 500 New England as a big game...common...I will give you GB since it was the first time the boys won their in ages but it was Zeke and not Dak who carried the team that day...either way his big wins in a 6 year career are extremely limited for me...that is okay you feel differently...I have felt this way about Dak since his rookie year and have been posting about it since...dude is the same now he was in college from a development perspective...he couldn't win the big game then and he hasn't really won to many "real" big games since he got here..not a knock, not a bash, just the cold hard truth. I hope he can prove my opinion wrong someday so I can relish in all the I told you so posts. I will have no problem saying I was wrong but to this point I don't believe I am. Have a great day bud appreciate a great many of your posts.

Dan Quinn had great timing following up an all time worst defensive performance in the year we lucked into Micah.

He's a good defensive coordinator. Maybe even a very good one. He's not a magician. He doesn't fix whatever ails you by his mere presence.

They won't be a top 5 defense because they don't have the talent to be. That defensive line is far from good enough.

This is my biggest concern going into the new season. After 2020, I remember feeling like the defense almost HAD to be better, because it couldn't be much worse. Then we got an amazing performance from Diggs first half of the year and Parsons was a revelation. But now it's the opposite, I almost expect a backslide. The defense doesn't have the interior line meat to do it for 17 weeks, and as good as I think the secondary has become, I don't think they have the dogs up front. Cowboys got some GREAT play from Parsons and Gregory in bursts, and I expect more greatness from Parsons, But the defense absolutely overachieved.

not a top 5 defense even if Bossman Fat plays?

What’s annoying about so called fans saying we got worse when we got rid of the players they bashed all year lol.

The good teams lose talent and that doesn’t hurt them. I don’t know why that’s foreign to some. The perennial playoff teams lose talent every offseason….

I disagree! 9 seems high to me. Btw I don’t mean this in a negative way. I like us in the East. I just think we lost a lot in the off-season and we are replacing them with rookies and cheaper FAs. It may work out great….I hope. I just see us as more of an 12-13 ranked team right now with question marks swirling. As we get through camp I’ll reevaluate.
Doesn't actually sound like you disagree at all. lol.
A couple slots downward isn't disagreement and they offer the same take as you almost verbatim.

Dallas is simply better than the rest of the NFCE thus makes the playoffs in most all projections.
But they are just treading water, not going out and getting vet difference makers to compete with Top 4-6 teams.

Frankly, Dallas has fared best the last decade when they've relied on young kids to step up.
This article was about marrying draft value with team needs and where that leaves teams.
Dallas has walk in spots for guys with really high ceilings in rounds 1-2-3.
That kind of set up has allowed them to grade out as a top 5 drafting team the past decade.

Hey you are entitled to your opinion. But pinning wins and losses on a QB is not right. There were many times where the team let Dak down and vice versa. Dak cant control-drops, penalties, and bone headed coaching decisions. New England also went to the playoffs and went on like an 8 game win streak after Dak destroyed them in Foxborough. Just saying. And again. He took a horribly ranked Miss. St team to the number one ranking in the country. You guys only look at the end not the journey.

And lost to Alabama in a big game…watch the game the announcers talk during the game about Dak. Has trouble reading defenses, accuracy issues, etc etc …same things pointed out in his scouting report and same problem he has had throughout his career. A six year career and less than 5 real big wins. Hardly top tier qb IMO. Dude just doesn’t have the final touches to make him elite. Adequate starter but he needs major support to compete with the top tier teams. He just doesn’t show up when it matters. I’m not going to change your opinion and you won’t change mine so I’m waving the white flag. Either way you and I will still be rotting for the boys come September and this is really all that matters.

Fair enough. Honestly. This season. I want them to go 0-17. I am so sick of this FO that I want them to lose everything and finally make wholesale changes. Staying relevant is what drives the decisions of this team and losing prime time games, getting blown out, thats what Jerry sees. It sounds bad but for the greater good I want this team to completely get embarrassed all season.

2 or 32…it doesn’t matter. No SB wins for this team with Dak under center.

Seriously this team hasn't won a super Bowl with anyone not named Staubach or Aikman under Center. *** is wrong with you people DAMN!!!

60 years of competing , 2 Super Bowl winning Qb's.

Plenty of big games?

Name 3 of them.
Seattle in the playoffs, Raiders to get us into the playoffs, Green Bay in Lambeau, Pittsburgh in Heinz, OT vs the Eagles. Patriots last season.....Is that more than 3? Im not saying the guy is elite. I am simply saying hes won some big games. Thats all. You like to believe he hasnt won a thing and its all a participation trophy. I already know what you are going to say. So dont bother. Ive said countless times. Dak needs to be more consistent. Dak stunk it up in the playoffs save 1 play. The second half of the season last year he was horrible. I just hold onto hope that he can play like the first 6 games again. Thats all.

The Green Bay game in Week 7 of 2016 was a "big game"? lol

What Raiders game to get us to the playoffs? Dak's only led us to 1 win vs the Raiders and that was in 2017 and we didn't make the playoffs that year. He also had 0 TDS and 2 INTS that game.

Tha Pats game? The Pats were what? 2-4 when we played them? Come on lol

The Pittsburgh and Eagles games are the same as the Green Bay game. That Eagles team didn't even make the playoffs that year and it was in like Week 5 of the season. It was the first "Dak vs. Wentz" game.

The Seattle game I'll give you. It was more Zeke than Dak, but I'll throw you a bone and give you that one because at least you tried.

Improved OL? How? You replaced Collins with a JAG, you have a rookie starting at LG and Tyron Smith is a year older.

Oh yeah, and the OL coach is still here.

This seems like a Go Cowboys! situation.
“Seems” is perception, isn’t it? To a stranger reading your posts, it “seems” like you’re a fan of another team. Speculation, opinion…it’s all in good fun!
