Week 1 will not tell us how good or how bad we are as a team.

Last year should have told you all that anything before around Week 8 means nothing in terms of how good the team is.

Commish didnt get his wish last season, so now lets replay.. ok.
Why are we opening again vs Tampa,, just asking.

Ratings…that is the only reason.
Maybe they think if this game was later in the season, it would not draw as big of ratings.
Because Dallas will be doing great and TB not so much…

If we pull off a win, Tampa then has to go on the road again at NO and then at GB. All conference games. It would be sweet if they were 0-3
Bad look for Goat Boy! They won’t let that happen, unless they plan an “all time comeback” by the end of the season.

Who knows…the way the economy’s going, maybe the plan is one last giant money grab before the fecal matter hits the fan: Dallas LOSES a close SB to New England or Pittsburgh…just an absurd speculation, but imagine the rating$!

Hopefully we'll have Zach Martin this time around. And as of now Suh is not on TB's roster. Big difference from what we saw last season Week 1.

That doesn’t mean crap to me. New season.

New season with the Cowboys usually means same results when it’s all said and done. How we start doesn’t matter anyway it’s how we finish.

No it won’t, but that won’t stop the media from playing up Dallas’ loss like it DOES mean something. Plus, it makes a late season nudge (a game changing subjective penalty) in the wrong direction more effective and easier to sell.

All I'm saying is if we win we're not Super Bowl bound and if we lose we're not #1 pick bound either.

Win or lose we're 9-8 bound:muttley:

I’m cautiously pessimistic.

Maybe Brady will be so preoccupied about how to spend that $37 million per year from Fox that he gets next year that he’ll take us lightly. Right? Brady take a game lightly?
