I'm seeing a strong start by beating the Bucs and the Bengals at home and then gaining confidence and finishing 14-3. Losses to the Rams, Iggles and Titans

I guess the giants finally relented to playing on Thanksgiving

That's a 2-4 start and probably 4-4 going into the bye before we lube up for Aaron Rodgers.

Possibly 5-3. Three East opponents, Chicago and Detroit should be wins. Tampa, LA and Cincy should be losses, but we came close to beating the Bucs on the road in last year's opener, so who knows?

We could easily be 2-3 to start. But middle schedule we might pick up pace. BUT as I said strength of schedule changes you never know. Just win

Not a bad schedule. Of course we'd finish on the road. Two home games to start though. That should be good for us.
Add to that two road games - both v. NFC North - following the bye.
However- the bye week comes as close to mid-season as teams can get.
8 games before, 9 games afterwards.

Honestly, not that bad. December should be a time where we just need to beat the teams we should beat.

Well, it's too bad we have a lot of complacent players ready to call it a year by that time.

Well this is great news for the McC haters because Jerry could make a change if the Cowboys struggle before the Packers game.
Or -- McCarthy has two weeks (minus mandatory CBA off days) to prepare his current team to face his former team.

Also this ....the Cowboys play the NFC North teams consecutively over 5 weeks.
Hosting Lions and Bears ("oh my!) - then "on the road again" to the Packers and Vikings.

We better get a little more help on D before the season starts! 3-5 very easily before the bye. The Dak chirping will start! And anyone who thinks those Lions and Bears are sure wins are the same fans throwing things at their TV when Mitch Trubisky lit us up a couple years ago!!!!!! Gonna be fun!

That’s quite a beginning to the season . Four of the first 6 against playoff teams with back to back Brady and Burrow . Dan Quinn will earn his salary .
I'm fine with this.
Hit them with the Real and then give them games to figure out what went wrong and solidify.

Of course, I'm giving the coaching staff more undeserved credit in thinking they can figure stuff out, but I'm a hopeful guy!

Yes, and the Packers game is right after the bye, so we should be well rested for it.
