Possibly 5-3. Three East opponents, Chicago and Detroit should be wins. Tampa, LA and Cincy should be losses, but we came close to beating the Bucs on the road in last year's opener, so who knows?
There is no team on the schedule the Cowboys can’t beat. LA Rams will be a home game in Los Angeles. I guess you think La’el will turn the Bengals offensive line into the Great Wall of Dallas. Brady is getting older and the Bucs defense has lost players and are getting old.

Garibay kicks off to upper deck of stadium.
1st and 10: Fournette rush for -3 yards (Ridgeway)
2nd and 13: Brady sacked for loss of 5 yards (Parsons)
3rd and 18: Brady sacked for loss of 7 yards (Williams)
*Tom Brady carted off the field, moment of silence
4th and 25: Camarda punts 53 yards to Cowboys 37 yard line, Tolbert return for 63 yards for touchdown
Garibay extra point good, lands in upper deck of stadium

Can't wait for the season to start.

With bossman and Gallup not playing until week 7 or 8 I'll say 10-7. As long as there's no significant injuries before the season.

Did anybody see Micah's segment with Irvin? He had a few jerseys on his wall of other players and one of them was Damontae Kazee.

Didn't say they couldn't beat them, just that the odds are in those teams' favor right now. All three of those teams won in the playoffs last year while we faltered, so I wouldn't pick against them at this point. By the time we play them, that could change.

Besides the obligatory Thursday night game that all 32 teams have, the Cowboys have 10 of the remaining 16 games scheduled for primetime - late Sunday afternoon (probably all shown over most of the country) and Sunday - Monday - Saturday nights. (Season finale TBD.)

You think Cincinnati could beat the 49ers? The Rams beat the 49ers because a guy dropped a gift wrapped interception. The Cowboys are on the same level as the top teams in the NFC. They lost a playoff game against a quality opponent on the last play of the game. So looking forward to the season.

Cincy went to the Super Bowl. I see no reason to dismiss them as an opponent. The Rams won the Super Bowl. We got eliminated in the first round. I'm all for being rah-rah, but until we prove that we are better than that, I'm not expecting victories against teams that did better than us.

Yes, that's great.
I am one of those fans who lives outside the Dallas area.
So nationally televised games are outstanding!!

I may be in the minority but I'm happy 4 of our first 6 are against playoff teams. We'll see early what we're made of. Even if we lose I can see that as a positive thing because we won't get arrogant and big headed going down the stretch.

We were cruising last season. 7-1 and going into the bye. Media and fans were talking super bowl, Dak for MVP, Pardons and Diggs for D-MVP. Then after the bye things just got harder. Played harder teams, got smacked around, starting crying about the refs and then got thumped in the playoffs. I really believe the players started believing their own hype and looking at their press clippings and lost some focus towards the end of the season. I'm thinking a slow start may be good for us. All I know is I'm not jumping ship if we start slow and also not making super bowl plans if we start fast. I'll start having super bowl fantasies after the first playoff win.

Evaluation is futile.

There will be "tough" teams that have fallen due to injury, age, or internal issues.

There will be "easy" teams that are on the rise due to the maturity of the multiple top 5 picks they have had recently.

There will be the Cowboys issues at any particular point of the season.

I'm only focused on game #1.

This will be a home game. Three out of four of the Buc's losses were away games. It will be the #1 offense in both categories against the #2 offense in both categories, although the Bucs are #1 in the passing game. I would argue that the Bucs have lost more talent than the Cowboys in the offseason. The key to this game will be the health of the Cowboys going in.

Perfect placement for our bye week. Right before the 3 games in 11 days stretch. This is how it should be every year.
