I just hope all the success Parsons had his rookie season doesn’t go to his head. He’s about the only thing that has fans excited about the upcoming season. If he were to suffer a sophomore slump this fan base would come unglued.
They already have.

They came unglued after the playoff loss but Parsons is the only player that gives most fans some hope. He’s the only key player we have that didn’t receive some criticism after last season. That could change real quick if the Cowboys get off to a rough start and he’s not putting up the sacks and making the eye popping plays we saw last season. He set the bar real high for himself and the fans expectations for him are off the charts. It didn’t take fans long to turn against LVE after his impressive rookie season. He was a fan favorite after his first season but has become one of the whipping boys on the team.

What's sad? Dallas had that game last season. Zuerlein literally lost it for them by missing three 3 pointers. Dak kept it close losing by three. Yet it's HIS fault "he can't beat good teams"!
Turn one of those FG attempts we settled for into a TD and redo the math.

They're going to turn on Diggs much faster than they turn on Parsons.

If Diggs is not better in overall coverage and not getting a bunch of INTS too boot then watch out.

No doubt about that Diggs gives up a number of plays. He was getting criticized by some fans last year. It’s been a mixed bag with Diggs so far. For every 2 or 3 plays he makes he gives up one.

I'm also on record schooling you about Daks "big games" so bad that you didn't even respond back.

P.S. I'm STILL not saying that loss was on Dak, but if I see any of you Dallas Prescott fans say "Dak won", "Dak kept is close", "Dak's record against so and so" blah blah blah best believe I'm gonna call you out on it.
Winning and Losing is done as a team. Always has been. I think the W/L record for a QB is the most asinine stat there is. And the only time I bring it up is if someone brings up his "record against good teams" lol.

I honestly didnt see your response bro. I have been in and out of the hospital. Didnt mean to not respond. All i said regarding his big games is he has won some. The guy posting said he never wins them lol. I just countered that saying he has won some. Thats all. Believe me. My opinion of Dak changed last season. I also wont fabricate things to make him look worse. Or better. lol.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope all is well. Get well soon, brother. We have a lot more arguing ahead lol

To be honest. I am done arguing. Nothing about this team will change. You can bring in Joe Montana in his prime and this front office would find a way to lose. The culture here is so toxic it took them getting destroyed by San Francisco physically to draft physical players. They are so reactive its disgusting. This team will not change. Regardless of who is under center. The problem as I have been saying all offseason is in the owners box not on the field. I want them to go 0-17 so maybe we might see some wholesale change. Even then i dont think we would though.

IMHO, too many fans came unglued LONG before the SF game, and no, even Parsons gets criticized. People overreact no matter who does what. Even if we dominate and win the next three SB’s, there will never be a shortage of people screaming “Dallas sucks!”

They were definitely coming unglued prior to the playoff loss but came completely unglued after it. If the Cowboys win the next three Super Bowls it won’t be the fan base saying they suck it will be everyone else. It’s not even being able to get past the divisional round the past 27 years that he has this fan base so frustrated and angry. Just one championship in the next few years would cure a lot of ills with the fan base.

1-4 in the red-zone off the TO the defense got for our offense.
Ya, I say there is a valid argument in blaming Prescott.....

Oh sure, winning would be awesome, but they should change that old saying “winning cures all” to “winning cures some”!

It’s the lack of playoff success and championships that’s caused all the anger and frustration with the fan base. There’s a lot of young fans here who’ve never even seen the Cowboys win a divisional playoff game. It’s been 27 years since the teams last championship and it’s taken its toll on the fan base. There’s no way we would be seeing this kind of displeasure if the team was winning championships. It’s silly to think any of this would be going on if the Cowboys were winning championships.
