Seems like they liked to get the ball in his hands quickly and let him run. His lower body is built more like a running back's.

True about his lower body. Sort of runs like a RB. They actually hand it off to him, sometimes, so that's a pretty astute observation.

He doesn't have blazing speed, but I could still see him getting some work in the slot.

I like Drummond, he reminds me a little of Tre'Quan Smith with those long arms and thick frame. Tough guy receivers who can block, play special teams, and have some RAC ability have a place on NFL teams. It's why Noah Brown is still with Dallas. He played the "big slot" roll at Ole Miss and they liked to get the ball in his hands quickly and let him create.

More Cole Beasley than Deebo. He better showout with some punt returns or he has little to no shot

Our UDFA class is littered with steals.

Yeah . . . This year was one of the strangest (in a good way) years I've ever seen.

I like some of our UDFAs better than the some of the guys we drafted.

Marquese Bell will make the team, imo.

He was one the UDFAs I think could make the team, had a draftable grade.

Yes, most years, he would have landed somewhere in the 5th, 6th round. This year, there were so many fringe guys that you couldn't draft all of them. The UDFA class is more talented this year than any other year.

BTW, Drummond reminds me of Wane McGarity in some aspects.

About the same speed. Has McGarity's fire when he plays, too.

A big thick WR who could surprise.

That's what I'm excited about. Every WR we have has the potential to surprise.

I think we'll duplicate or improve on last year's passing totals.

The physical talent of players that don't get drafted always amazes me.
- It really shows how difficult it is for kid to develop into a good enough college player to be drafted.
- It magnifies how difficult is is to become an NFL player.

I've often heard people with kids that are good athletes in middle school or high school say "He's planning to go to the NFL".

How many “next Deebos” do we have now ?
Definitely the most overused comparison this offseason and not just by Cowboys fans.

Having said that, Deebo is a good way to describe a style of WR.
- Most fans/media during the draft made poor comparisons, but if used correctly, then using Deebo as a descriptive reference is valid.

Drummond was a WR I liked in the 5th Round, so to still get him as a UDFA is cool to me. He can bring a physicality to the WR room, plus another guy who can play slot or outside. DD runs a good slant and is tough to tackle, guy has quick feet but he's not that fast.

LOVED that the Cowboys landed him. Good shot at the 53.

I think he's got to beat out Brown for a spot, which means he'll have to be at least as good at what Brown provides as a blocker and on special teams. Of course, with Gallup set to miss some time, there could be a little extra room in the WR room for a while. Lamb, Washington and Tolbert are probably the only locks for the opening roster, with Gallup on PUP. So, two spots among Brown, Fehoko, Vasher, Smith, Drummond, Roberson, Fryfogle and Houston. BTW, I'm really intrigued by Houston.
