On a completely personal level, Im very disappointed in what came out yesterday. There was 1 game I was really looking forward to out of all of them, and it was the Titans game. We have been to Nashville a few times and really have a great time there. Never been to a game there and it was the 1 on the schedule that I was locked into.

Thursday night game.... ok, no biggie. Done that it seems every time we play the Saints.... BUT, DEC 29????? really?

Gonna be freezing (my wife and the cold dont get along well at all) but New Years in Nashville? Anyone know what that is like? IM thinking not good.

Now, the game we've been waiting for is totally up in the air if we will even go. Screw you schedule makers. Always pimping the Cowboys for ratings.
I just got tickets for this game this morning!! Looking forward to it! :flagwave:

You know full well, if the wife ain't happy, it'll feel like three days!
I’m a big believer in “happy wife happy life”. I follow it daily on every little detail—what to eat, TV, how to decorate, recreational choices, etc., etc., but when it comes to a game, I’d simply prepare. I’d take extra clothes to ensure her comfort and safety. If she was just using that as an excuse to not go, then I’d simply find her another entertainment alternative, and go by myself or with a friend. See, that whole selfish manipulation stuff is foreign to me and my wife. She compromises for me too.

By the time I looked for tickets in Nashville, they only had upper deck and those were over $300 each. Not worth it.

Have you been to Nashville? I was just there 3 weeks ago and it was PACKED. Lines to get into many bars.. no way in hell would I want to do NYE there.
Nashville is awesome but Broadway (the strip of bars, boot/hat shops) is very overrated. One of the last places on earth I’d go on purpose.

You should have told Goodell. Maybe it isn't too late to change it to earlier in the year? Which week is better for you?

hehe...j/k

So I take it going to a NE, Bills, or Giants game in Dec would definitely be out of the question.

Ah yeah, I get a game on my birthday though with December 29, so that'll be good.

It’s the south… it gets cold here like once every 10 years!
