Very disappointed in schedule

I’m a big believer in “happy wife happy life”. I follow it daily on every little detail—what to eat, TV, how to decorate, recreational choices, etc., etc., but when it comes to a game, I’d simply prepare. I’d take extra clothes to ensure her comfort and safety. If she was just using that as an excuse to not go, then I’d simply find her another entertainment alternative, and go by myself or with a friend. See, that whole selfish manipulation stuff is foreign to me and my wife. She compromises for me too.

trust me.... if I want to go, I will go. With or without her. Id rather it be with her.

On a completely personal level, Im very disappointed in what came out yesterday. There was 1 game I was really looking forward to out of all of them, and it was the Titans game. We have been to Nashville a few times and really have a great time there. Never been to a game there and it was the 1 on the schedule that I was locked into.

Thursday night game.... ok, no biggie. Done that it seems every time we play the Saints.... BUT, DEC 29????? really?

Gonna be freezing (my wife and the cold dont get along well at all) but New Years in Nashville? Anyone know what that is like? IM thinking not good.

Now, the game we've been waiting for is totally up in the air if we will even go. Screw you schedule makers. Always pimping the Cowboys for ratings.

I googled this after I purchased my tickets. My 10 year old hasn’t seen a game and insisted. I was thinking the same and I’m hoping for a lucky break. No rain and I’ll be ok.

By the time I looked for tickets in Nashville, they only had upper deck and those were over $300 each. Not worth it.
They were like that at 8pm on the dot. Cowboys markup. The giants/titans were a little cheaper-around 200$.

Like I said... this game is now doubtful. Crappy weather and new years eve weekend....ugh. Not good.

Double layers everywhere. You won't need ice for your drinks. In fact, if you're lucky it will be snowing and you can just put your cup to the air. Wear goggles so that your tears don't freeze to your eyelashes as you watch Derrick Henry surpass 2000 yards.

Those cold weather games are fine when your team is winning but aren't fun when your losing. I would choose a Giants or Washington game because the Cowboys offense seems to turn those games into a shootout. Save Tennessee for the Hatfield and McCoy trail system and go dirt biking/atv with your buddies or family.

A quick Google search shows upper 40s is average for late December.

I’d kill for that in winter.

First thing I did was check for 9 home games. If there was 9 away games two years in a row I was going to go ballistic.

Live in metro Atlanta - short flight or decent drive to both Jacksonville and Nashville.
Jaguars game in September and Titans game in October / early November.
Both games in December ---work obligations rule me out.

Some of us dont need to kill for it.... we just live in Ca. As long as we dont run out of water, we will stay here forever.

Since when is Nashville a cold weather city? Upper 40s on New Year's? That's down right balmy.

I did NYE in Nashville in 2013. Watched the guitar drop over the river.

From what I recall the weather was really nice but the beer was flowing so the weather wouldn’t have bothered me anyway. It was insanely crowded though. Don’t know if you’d want any part of that mess.

My buddy the Commanders fan and I always go to the DC game due to the cost of seats in Dallas. We play in DC at the end of the season in the COLD.
