10-7 but could see their record being as low as 7-10 or as high as 12-5 depending on health, player development, and whether or not some bad teams from last year take a jump up in competition

This is an extremely good take IMO. Until I see the Cowboys make a statement against a team like the Rams, I won't believe otherwise.

8-9 it is.

I've had them 9-8 the whole offseason, but after seeing the schedule I can't see 9 wins right now, maybe that will change as the season progresses, but I don't see it right now today.

This is what i got. Wouldn't surprise me if they beat indy and lost to jacksonville.

Such a weird schedule ... in the first six we play each NFC East Team ... then we play the entire NFC North in consecutive weeks ... then play the AFC South in four out of five weeks at the end of the season. It's like the schedule makers got bored.
Or got creative...or continue to be so. Three years ago, the Cowboys 2019 season alternated home and away games except for two weekends in November.
Home and away for first 10 games; the 11th game was also away - but alternate schedule continued in reverse.
Games 1- 10___ home and away
Games 11-16___away and home

Always remember this fact about the schedule, it isn't who you play, it's when you play them.. I'd much rather play against the Bucs, Bengals & Rams early in the season when they are not at their OPTIMAL BEST as opposed to facing them later in the season when they begin to click on all cylinders.. I can see us winning 10 or 11 games which should be enough to win the NFC EAST in back to back seasons..
