Burks was an exceptional player at Arkansas. In his final season, he had 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Titans are hopeful Burks will be able to eventually replace the production that A.J. Brown gave them. But first, they'll need to make sure his conditioning improves.

Glad Jerry didn't go after Burks since he was a Razorback. No excuse for being out of shape to start rookie camp as a rookie.

Other sources are reporting that it was an issue with his asthma and should be a non issue!

If this is true, ugh, asthma is no joke! Being constantly short of breath and constant coughing will knock anyone on their butt! I know. I deal with it. Ugh...

PS: Hope Treylon Burks gets the proper medical help to help control his asthma...and gets to feeling and breathing better soon.

If he has asthma, I'd advise him to go back to Hog U to finish his degree. (Nothing on the Internet mentions he has asthma.)

But ... Still, don't mess with asthma.
If you need an inhaler like Burks, you are pushing your body to dangerous uncharted territory.

I'm sure he isn't the first guy that something like this has happened too. Everyone is different and he may of under estimated training camp or maybe his nerves contributed. Could of been flat out dehydration. Point being that some people take time to adjust and most likely he will get there. I know a lot of people that have suffered through that 80 degree heatstroke coming out of winter to get their bodies in shape. Me being one of them.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they practiced earlier in the day. Could be wrong
It has been in the low 80s in the morning but really was cooking after about 2 pm...peaking at 5 or so

Lol, here in Maryland it's nice and balmy.
Only problem is the occasional deadskin fan.
And they are about as fed up with their owner as we are.

Burks showed up fat and unready. Kinda glad we didnt draft him. Meanwhile, JT..the kid we drafted at 88, hasn't missed a beat thus far. Silky smooth and in shape.
