Don’t see how he can look a lot happier being on the hot seat with all the Sean Payton rumors swirling around. He’s had to answer questions about it while watching several good players leave. Most feel he’s done in Dallas if the Cowboys don’t go deep in the playoffs.

I would call them talented players who were not a good fit for the team at all. The only one I hated seeing leave was Wilson. The others can kick rocks.

Got to get past the 1st round of the playoffs to stay HC . It’s a simple clear mandate .

One of 2 reasons

1. he understands Jerry is the HC not him

2. he just found out that Cowboys HC in year 3 have unfettered access to the All you can eat buffet at the facility
Nominated for "Post of the Year"

Usually when someone says they are "just being real", it is usually with a negative type vibe. Not saying that is you, just making a comment of what I observed in the past from others.

However, the "mouth smack" comment sounds like a dig at him. You could have left that part off.

Usually when someone says they’re just keeping it real it’s because they’re being criticized for being negative. Keeping it real about the team the past 27 years is usually not going to be positive. As for the mouth smack comment it’s better than calling him fat.

Cooper was a terrific fit he helped make Dak and the team better. He completely turned around the 2018 season. Even though we chose not to use him properly he still led the team with 8 TD catches. His numbers last season were better than AJ Brown’s.

Did we not use him correctly or did he not try? Because this is the second team who has had a problem with his work ethic and attitude. It just permeates the locker room and it's not good. I don't care what kind of stats he had and how talented he was, he can play somewhere else.

He disappeared in virtually every road game. Okay we have enough players who disappear during big games. We don't need to pay someone that much money when he only participates in half the season.

A radio interview during the season he was pinning it on Kellen Moore. Most who get paid to talk football weren’t blaming him. I never heard any complaints about his work ethic except from fans. He played with numerous injuries and still made plays. He made Cooper Rush look like a viable QB against the Vikings. He was one of the best players on the team that fans trashed. He made some huge plays for us last season. We wouldn’t have won as many games without him, especially the Minnesota game. We’ll see how we fare without him.

He's ultra talented, probably the most talented receiver in the league, but you don't get rid of a player like that unless there's a major problem. This is the second team now who's done that.

I don’t know where you’ve been but the major problem was our salary cap. It was all about money. Had Zeke not had so much guaranteed money coming to him this year we would’ve moved on from him instead of Cooper. Trading Cooper for a fifth round pick was one of the dumbest moves in franchise history. Good chance it’s going to come back on us. They’re probably still laughing in Cleveland.

Yeah the salary cap does play a part of it. We're not giving a guy $20 million a year to loaf around. He's this talented and all we can get was a fifth. Something major is up.

At least we got something. I'm hearing this guy we got in the fifth round could be a player for us.

The cap played a huge part in it and what was up was the Cowboys let everyone know if they couldn’t trade Cooper they would release him. No one’s going to give up a premium pick if a player is going to be released. The guy we got was drafted in the third not the fifth and we’ll just have to see how he turns out. The Cowboys will be keeping their fingers crossed for the next several months hoping the moving on from Cooper doesn’t blow up in their face. They’ve never been real good at evaluating their receiving corp we found that out in 2018. They claimed they were very confident with the receivers they were entering the season with. Didn’t take long for that to change. Lol

There was zero market for him. The only team who was willing to give up anything was Cleveland. Why would you wait until he's released when you have an opportunity to snag him for, say a 3rd rounder? Someone that talented is easily worth it. There was no market there because there are things we don't know about.
