I knew something was up with NY, Dallas had the same strategy. The Giants drafted Thibadoux first to get to Dak and beat an aging Tyron. Then NY took the RT Neal to box out an aging Lawrence. Both teams took a WR with their 3rd pick.

Dallas didn’t get a DE to fall in the first so they went with the best OL available who is going to be blocking Thibadoux on the left side, and then they went with Sam as a pass rusher. Some people see him as a Lawrence type LDE but I see him on the weak side maybe even an OLB so that will be interesting to see how Dallas matches up against the Giants this year.

The Giants took Thibadoux and Neal because they were the best players available. It had nothing to do with countering what the Cowboys do. If we had those exact draft slots both those players would be Cowboys now.

Yeah, I think you mean the Cowboys had the same two picks as the Giants.

They had a great draft but it doesn’t matter bc Daniel Jones was one of the worst picks in the history of the draft and they’re going nowhere with him.
