Apparently he would rather broadcast games than be in the studio. Rodney Harrison ended up getting demoted we’ll see if he gets his old spot back or they elevate Cris Collinsworth’s son into the studio.

The one game I listened to him commentate (think it was a Saturday game), he did a terrible job. Basically pointed out the obvious the whole game. Not surprised at all about this news. He needs a lot of practice.

I thought he was fine in the studio and seemed okay in the booth. From what they’re saying he wasn’t fired it was a mutual agreement to leave NBC and he wanted more opportunities to broadcast games. But who really knows.
