I get it , it's the way you look at this team. When will Dallas collapse ? Steven A. says it. He's got paid handsomely for his schtick. I'll just root for the Boys one game at a time until they get bounced

I think the offensive line got worn down by midseason. No one on the line played particularly well the second half of last season. Dak and our RBs playing significantly worse after the Patriots game and the line is to blame for much of that.
Thank you for an honest response and it was obvious that this OL was falling apart, we can blame Dak, Zeke, Moore all we want, but if the OL falls apart this entire offense fails.
This offense has the pieces in place to be better, but this OL has to improve and I believe it will, even at Center there is at least some competition.
If this OL can come together, this can be a dangerous team.

Why's that apparent?

Would you have faith taking your car that has broken down for 26 straight years on vacation?

You would never trust anything else in your life that has failed you for 26 straight years. Why the Cowboys? What have they done to earn such trust from you? Why does it bother you that others have lost trust and will gladly stop being doom and gloom when they stop being right? I used to trust them the way you do, but 1996 was a long time ago and they've lost that trust. It's on them to earn it back.

I'd sell the car. Anyone would. Except for Jerry. Grrrr..

Denver did lay down the blueprint, after that game it was exposed.

I can tell you right now that this is not a Super Bowl team.

I don't need to wait till Week 5.
You are right. Anybody that thought that the Cowboys were legit Super Bowl contenders at any point of the season last year was lying to themselves. They will not be legit contenders during the upcoming season either. Even with a big infusion of talent, the loser culture will still prevent this team from being consistent winners.

Asking a lot…Tyron and Zach are on the downside and rookie; Biadasz; Steele doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence.

The line absolutely has to play better but Dak and the runners need to be more dynamic this season as well. They can’t rely on the line to dominate every game.

Players like Bell need to step in, and very well could, we dont know that yet because we havent seen that yet, but just saying its the reason why draft stock was invested there.
This OL has the ability to improve with some UDFAs even.
I want to believe that the OL comp is wide open, and why shouldnt it be..
UDFAs Lindstrom and Empey are even in line behind Farniok from last draft to improve or motivate or move Biadasz.
Not knocking Biadasz, but he even has comp which is how it should be.
Not sure why Tretter is being ignored by the league, but there is a reason or he would be signed by now, so looking in house first, I would say that at the very least there is some comp at center.

Good coaching and game-planning become paramount in the playoffs. Even if we make it there, I have ZERO confidence that our coaching staff gives us an advantage over the other team's coach and coaching staff.
Mike "Watermelon Smasher" McCarthy was supposed to have our team emotionally ready to play the Niners in the playoffs. And all I saw was fear in their eyes, and MM even said players were nervous. Nervous?!?!?!?
What is your job Mr. Watermelon Smasher?
Pathetic!

Stopping the running game and forcing Dak to win games has worked out well for opposing teams. When the other NFCE teams figures this out, the days of winning the division will be over.

It was a lame game plan, never understood the offensive receiving routes that were being employed when it was obvious that Dak needed a dialed back conservative approach.
Some will take that as a Dak attack, but I dont care who the QB was, if the OL fell apart, incorporate a more intermediate receiving attack, not stick with long developing receiving routes.
Not excusing Dak at all, but it was absurd that Moore was allowed to keep bringing his nonsense design when he knew the OL was garbage.

Our Super Bowl teams are usually on paper during the offseason. The Cowboys have won a lot of Super Bowls during the offseason.

Mr. Rodgers was right when he said that MM has the lowest football IQ of any coach in the league. After that glowing endorsement, Jerry and the cheap son rushed to bring all of that football knowledge to Dallas. Molesting melons was just an added bonus.

We'll have a good idea on whether or not this team is a Superbowl contender by Week 5.

Cowboys play the Bengals week 2 and the reigning Superbowl Champions Week 5.

Yes, these games are early in the season and key players may be missing, but these games should give us a better idea on how if Dallas has a chance at a Superbowl.

:starspin:
If you had asked me after the 5th game last season i would have given you a definite yes.

As it turned out my visions of dominance were somewhat premature.

I respectfully disagree with your point.

I believe that it will be the Titans in game #16 that tells us who those Cowboys are. Last season the Titans ran more often than any other team and the Cowboys are going nowhere without a run defense. Derrick Henry missed 8 games and still came real close to a thousand yard season.

We will know about the Cowboys Super Bowl chances just before New Year's and I don't think before that. I understand what you are saying but the season is just too long in my opinion.

You couldn't see the TV over your pom-poms.

Is there no middle ground? Just because someone doesn’t spend their days crying, you wanna call them cheerleaders. You should change your moniker to “Eeyore”.

We couldn't beat good teams last season, looked and were coached awful in the one-and-done game at home, we got worse in the offseason...and we have to wait until week 5 to see if we are a SB team? More like we'll know by week 5 if we are a top 5 2023 draft team. If we look like a SB team by week 5, then "Jerry's Way" really will be working.

Why are you ignoring we play the GOAT on week 1? Is that not going to give you a better idea of the Cowboy's chances at a Super Bowl?
