On Defense, top front 7 in the league, 2 PB CB. On Offense, 1 of the best lines in the league, top WRs, TE, and top running attack in the league. Trenches win games and they are loaded on both sides of the ball.
Top front 7? Who are their linebackers? Their defensive ends are JAGs. Pro Bowl cornerbacks?:lmao2::lmao:

Cowboys fans conceding the division title to the eagles before a single snap is even played, LOL.

Philadelphia had an easy schedule last season as well. They did not beat any quality teams. The Eagles have brought in some high priced free agents at defensive end and cornerback but I don’t think any of those guys are pro bowl talents. AJ is good but he is not special. They overpaid for him because the Eagles do not have the quarterback to consistently get him the ball. I love the Georgia boys as draft prospects but Davis will take time to adjust and statistically he was Georgia’s 3rd best defensive tackle. Dean is a product of that front four, small and has not worked out. That is a red flag to me.

Who did we beat that was high quality? The Chargers were probably our best win and they didn't even make the playoffs.

Reddick has 24 sacks over the last two seasons. He's a major improvement over what they had. Brown is replacing Reagor. Again, that's a massive improvement. It's pretty silly to try to argue that the Eagles didn't significantly improve two weak positions with those additions. I mean if we added Reddick, something tells me you'd be drooling over how awesome at edge we are now with his addition.

Reddick has had 24 sacks the last two seasons. They get Graham back from injury and he's always been an effective DE.

Our best DE is actually our starting LB. LOL.

I think the Eagles have had a really good offseason. I think they challenge us for the division.
Hurts is what he is, but they've put the right kind of players around him IMO.
He's not going to sit in the pocket, read defenses, and make great decisions and pick a D apart like Brady, but what he can do is keep plays and drives alive.
He can break containment and keep the sticks moving on a 3rd a long with a scramble. And now that he has a breakout wideout, don't be surprised to see some long TDs off broken plays ala Murray/Hopkins. Jalen can wing the ball deep.
They have a stout D that will stop the run and pressure the QB, and a solid O line that will be able to run the ball.
They will be much improved IMO.
Now, come playoff time, they won't be able to overcome a well coached, solid team, like the Rams/Bucks/Pack, but they will make some noise. They remind me a little of the Niners. Limited QB but good running game, good D and a breakout WR. They won't ask Hurts to win games, just manage them, not make mistakes, and make some key plays at crucial times with his legs (either running or getting out of the pocket and winging it deep).
I have to admit, I like Jalen a lot, his character I mean. As a big college football fan, the way he handled being benched for Tua, still remaining the consumate team guy, then getting his chance at OU and making the most of it. Kid has amazing character. Good on him.

I will always be hooked, Love my boys. Like last year I expect excellence from Dak. So I will probably be disappointed again.:facepalm:
If you really believe some of the stuff you've been saying then I'm afraid you're setting yourself up to be disappointed again, my friend.

One, they have a very easy schedule. Two, even with Hurts kinda stinking, they won 9 games when people thought they would suck last year coming off a dreadful 2020 season. Three, they have arguably the best OL in football which can cure a lot of offensive issues. Four, they had clear needs at WR, CB and rushing the passer and went out and addressed all three with significant improvements. Five, they believe in the lines carry you and as noted they have the best OL in football and they restocked their DL adding a first round pick at DT and then going out and adding a pure pass rusher in Hassan Reddick.

Yes, AJ Brown is a significant improvement for them at WR. They no longer have to rely on disappointing Reagor to be the other WR next to Smith. It's a massive jump from Reagor to Brown. I have no idea if Hurts will be good but going from Reagor to Brown is a huge help for Hurts.

People are being silly if they don't think Philly really improved this offseason. I have no idea if this can carry them to a division title over us but anyone thinking they aren't a very real and viable threat is being a Cowboys homer.

I agree. Philly has improved, and we probably won’t beat them twice by three TDs. However, I still think Dallas is better. If we ranked top 3 on offense and 15-20 on defense in 2021, I think in 2022 we’ll be top 10 in each—IF we stay relatively healthy.

You think Reddick is better then Tank? This Reddick’s third team in 3 years. Didn’t Reddick got owned by Steele when we played Carolina last season.

If only we'd ever seen a team try to buy their way to a championship, and look good on paper, only to be the same craptastic team they were before. Then, maybe we'd have some hope....sigh....Guess I'll go buy some rope and a tall ladder.

I don't call it homerism, i call it knowing what I am seeing from the players we acquired vs what we "lost". You can downplay our acquisitions but I feel like we have a very good chance to be better.

The rotation is certainly going to be better. The rotation of Gholston, Armstrong, Fowler and SW is stronger. SW, IMO, was the best edge defender in the draft, maybe the best defender. We will see if I am right on that and if he can stay on the field.

If he does, lookout.

I know we set the bar extremely high with Randy...ya know....playing half his potential games and all and the high water mark of 6 sacks....but I like our chances to get better there.

At wr...we may be better off letting a position of strength come back to the pack a little. People whined that we didn't target a #1 like some of the other teams did, well now, we may have no choice but to feed Ceedee.

At the same time, I like the deep threat that Washington represents and the versatility that Tolbert brings. We still have a top 15 wr corpse, no matter how down you are on this group.

What have you seen? Tolbert, Williams and Smith have not taken NFL snaps yet. Those are three guys that you seem to be putting a lot of faith in when you say we filled our needs.

Again, there is no evidence to suggest this team is as good or even better than last year's when many of our needs heading into this offseason are expected to be filled by rookies. They did ZERO in FA to improve. Fowler is a JAG. Washington is also a JAG. The Cowboys are counting on rookies to basically make immediate impacts. That seems like a real risky proposition.

I think Reddick is better than you think he is, especially in the role they want him to fill - rush the passer. Great, he didn't play well against us. One game doesn't mean squat. Using your logic, we are in trouble since Lamb only caught 5 balls for 111 yards and no TDs in two games against Philly last year.

If Reddick was drafted by the Cowboys he'd be on one team his whole career also.

You can't judge a player by how many teams they've been on vs. Cowboys players they drafted.

If you're drafted by the Cowboys, and you play alright, you've got to basically retire or leave at your own free will because Jerry will not let you go. In fact, he will probably pay you over market value just to keep that star on your helmet.

If all three strike out, we have options. Sure, McGovern isn't all pro but you can do a lot worse at LG.

We can find a third wr...if Washington and Tolbert whiff.

BTW, I am not as certain on Smith and Tolbert as some others. There are too many variables with them to be certain. I like them but not certain. Williams I am certain on.

Just like us......................
Imagine how this place will be if Hurts ends up with more total TDs than Dak next year.....

Dak had 12 more TDs then Hurts last year, but I believe that gap is getting closer next year.
