That’s not the last time we did that though…

In 2017 we opened FA by adding #1 FA player Alshon Jeffrey, and then we added Torrey Smith, and then we added Nick Foles, and then we traded for Timmy Jernigan, and then we added Lagarrette Blount, and then we traded for Ronald Darby, and then we traded for Jay Ajayi…

People were saying “lol dream team” then too
Teams are becoming smarter to an extent with FA, and thats why agents are demanding everything.
Philly drafted Davis and Dean and that really left a burning sensation in my Cowboy belly.
Its going to be a race in the east to who can build the best defense first.

No, I don't think the Eagles are a joke but I am not shaking in my boots because they made a bunch of moves. Sorry, but they went into the offseason with 3 1st round picks and came away with 1 rotational DL and an overpaid WR. I think that is not an effective use of those resources. It may pay off in the future but I would be disappointed if I were an eagles fan.

Believe it or not, we addressed our needs too. Maybe not how Madden trained fans would but we did. We addressed our loser energy and discipline problems. We added more talent to our team on defense and got tougher on the OL.

All of those things don't feel like they happened because we haven't seen it yet. I feel good about where we are as a team.
One of those first round picks was traded for a first next year. Roseman now has two first round picks in what is supposed to be a talent-laden QB draft. If he has to because Hurts isn't doing the job, he is position to package both picks to move up in the draft for a top prospect. I'd say that is good use of resources.

As opposed to your logic that signing Bradberry tips the divisional balance of power in the eagles favor.
It was tipped well before this signing.

In fact, it was probably tipped the moment we were crowned champs last year because nobody in the crap division can win it 2 years in a row.

I bet you wished that the Cowboys came away with that 1 rotational DL.

We play the Eagles in what? 5 months from now? And you're already blaming the refs :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Not at all. That’s how YOU are framing it. I’m simply stating my opinion that Dallas will continue to be involved in more odd situations than most teams involving untimely penalties.

You know how you die on a video game and all of your coins come out of your pocket. That's what's going to happen to the Eagles when we're done with them. Everything they've collected will be bouncing around to be picked up by someone else.

And then he will have to wait a year or two for that QB to even have a shot at being the answer.

Either Hurts is the answer or they should have done something else. Banking on potential is not it, imo.

The fact you say they are pretty even when we had the clear advantage in 2021 pretty much tells you all you need to know about our offseason.

We were the team that won 12 games. We were the team that a few holes that we should have addressed with some proven talent to get us over the hump.

Instead, we went into cap saving mode, bragged about how awesome we draft and just assumed our JAG FAs and draft picks will be the elixir this team needed to be better than 2021. LOL. We never learn.
Hey I understand the frustration, and they have narrowed the gap.

We have had our window for years now while this division was awful and they chose to play it the way they did.

IMHO, Dallas is still better, but it depends on team health. Officiating could play a part as well. Just speculation. We’ll see.
I agree Dallas is still better, and we should win the division barring key injuries, but if two of our losses are against Philly, it won't be a slam dunk.

I am well aware of what they tried to do and what they ended up doing.

It will also be his 3rd year, a year in which a lot of OL start to get it.

I just want to go back and watch those games and find out the real story.

Something tells me the "real story" here that you find will be that McGovern played decently and we are in good shape at LG is Smith struggles to get his rookie footing.

If they only had a QB………

Anyone watch the WC game vs Tampa last season? They had plenty of opportunities to get in the game or win and Hurts couldn’t throw the ball

Amari Cooper, Ced Wilson, La'ael Collins ?
I'll give you Amari , he was my guy, but Collins and Wilson didn't mean that much, even though Wilson played his part in the Bradberry abuse he's more than replaceable. Lamb gets his shot to replace Amaris production and I think if he gets the targets he'll be fine.

Bradberry is not so much better then what we have that he is worth the 10 million to bring in. Sorry, i can be mad at the cowboys for a few things, but not signing a CB who is trash in man coverage to come play in our Def which relies alot on man coverage, is not on my list.

One, they have a very easy schedule. Two, even with Hurts kinda stinking, they won 9 games when people thought they would suck last year coming off a dreadful 2020 season. Three, they have arguably the best OL in football which can cure a lot of offensive issues. Four, they had clear needs at WR, CB and rushing the passer and went out and addressed all three with significant improvements. Five, they believe in the lines carry you and as noted they have the best OL in football and they restocked their DL adding a first round pick at DT and then going out and adding a pure pass rusher in Hassan Reddick.

Yes, AJ Brown is a significant improvement for them at WR. They no longer have to rely on disappointing Reagor to be the other WR next to Smith. It's a massive jump from Reagor to Brown. I have no idea if Hurts will be good but going from Reagor to Brown is a huge help for Hurts.

People are being silly if they don't think Philly really improved this offseason. I have no idea if this can carry them to a division title over us but anyone thinking they aren't a very real and viable threat is being a Cowboys homer.
I agree with everything you said. I feel the gap has closed between us and the Eagles. Last year it was 2 easy games against an inferior team. This year it will be a dogfight. They are our biggest threat to repeat as NFC east champs. Eagles and Commanders will be a lot better but I'm not completely sold they will over take us. But their additions to their roster is concerning. We will not win the east easily. I feel we'll still win but we'll have to be prepared.
