Watching Candy on Hulu. Only halfway through the first episode, but it's pretty good so far. Jessica Biel is doing a fantastic job, IMO. BTW, how can someone look so ridiculously hot with a bad 70's perm and huge glasses??

Been watching Vikings Valhalla on Netflix and enjoying it. A lot of historically famous Scandinavians already introduced but I’m sure they’re taking some big liberties to make it a compelling show.
Just as they did in the first series, yes.

Anybody ever watched Barry on HBO Max? Took me a second to get into the show, but I'm really enjoying it. I'm all caught up now and have to wait week to week.

Remember when one of the best benefits to subscribing to these streaming services was being able to binge a whole season, because they released them whole? Yeah, me too. Miss those days. :(

You could wait until the season is over. That's what I'm doing with Mayans

Bosch is back and life is worth living once again.

What is Amazon doing? Bosch is on Amazon Freevee which is a free service that has commercials breaks. Why am I paying for Amazon Prime? And they are not releasing all episodes at once. They released the first four on May 6, then 5 and six on May 13. The next 2 will be out on May 20. The final 2 will be released on May 27. This is annoying and coupled with having ads, even short ones, is twice as annoying. My prediction is the commercial breaks will get longer as people accept watching commercials on paid services.

I have a feeling this is the future of streaming services. They are becoming like network TV.

I do that with just about every show and have for many years now.

Before streaming services I would just wait until the seasons came out on DVD to watch them.

I get why the networks want to stretch it out because they can make more money that way but my original reason for doing it was because 1) they kept moving TV show nights and times assuming everyone interested would move with them and 2) they kept canceling shows with cliffhangers at the end.

When I watch a new show now, I typically wait until season 2 has been released or has at least been renewed first.

The reason Amazon, Disney, etc. show them weekly is because it requires you keeping subscriptions active longer.

If you think about it, that is why you see a lot of weird numbers of episodes in some TV show seasons because they want to make sure you are paying for 2-3 months to see the entire season as it airs.

It is not a paid service, it’s their free offering.

Not sure if it was posted, but there is another Yellowstone spinoff coming called "1932". Harrison Ford and Hellen Mirren are going to be in it. I enjoyed 1883 so I'm looking forward to it.
I thought 1883 was fantastic. The casting was very good, especially Isabel May. I thought she was extraordinary, and deserves an Emmy, IMO. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw did a great job as well, and Sam Elliott...Well, what needs to be said?

Finished the last season of Ozarks.
Loved that series.
I am glad that they finished it instead of milking it after becoming a hit.
Too many good shows that start off well and so they try to milk it for every drop and turning it into something terrible.
