Bradbury is a solid player. He isn't better than what we have.
Agree, but Im not knocking what our immidiate comp threat in our division is doing.
Im not going to have blind bias faith that just because we are the Cowboys we even own our own division anymore.
Philly is catching up quick, and Jerry being comfy just winning the east is coming to an end.
In some radical alternate reality, I actually endorse our immediate comp improving, and threatening Jerrys strangle hold on div only dominance.
That was never just good enough, I want post season success and maybe our division rivals getting better slaps Jerry in the face a bit and can reset his agenda to be more than just div champs.

See Kearse, Hooker, Watkins, Basham, Washington, and Fowler. How many do you want?
Last year was an anomaly.
But, I am talking more the highly rated free agents and not dumpster diving we do.
We have signed no impact free agents this year.

Hatred? Hyperbolic much?

Watch the highlights of his interceptions. How many of them is he making up distance on deep routes and pick pocketing the WR? How many of them is he tearing the ball out of the receivers hands?

Or… how many of them is he jumping a poorly thrown ball? Selling out and jumping routes? How many of them is he leaving the receiver because he sees a mistake the QB threw? There are a dozen difference things that are in play when an interception happens, the CB is often responsible for only 2-3 of those. I realize you don’t see it as anything but hate, but Diggs is not the greatest CB in 40 years as his INT total is not entirely in his control, or any other CB’s.
This goes for any cornerback….corners get picks because of badly thrown balls or poor decisions….why are you acting like this is only exclusive to Digggs?

We didn’t sign any last year either…until we did. Nobody can argue against Kearse’s impact.
Yes you can sign a lot of low price free agents and throw them against the wall and hope someone sticks.
I am talking about signing quality Free agents like Wagner, Bradberry ect,, players that have made a probowl.
Have not signed any of those in forever.

I think there were two different PHL teams last season and that second one that started coming together played better as a team than the Cowboys did.

Hurts would not be the first QB, not in the top two tiers, to take his team deep into the playoffs. He needs to create with his feet and execute with his arm because he's got the best weapons in the East.

PHL seems to be taking a page from LA and sensing the time is now and I laughed at their HC coming into last season but thought he did the best job in the NFC

The Eagles looked good to end the season because they played

Detroit, Chargers, Broncos, Saints, Jets, WFT, Giants, Cowboys.

It’s what the 2022 Dallas Cowboys will be. Average early as the schedule is brutal. But will look better when the schedule gets easier late

Jury is still out on Hurts, he’s only started 20 games and for most of them he was without his best running back Sanders, and was throwing to receivers who probably couldn’t make most teams practice squads, other than Smith.

I’m sure you Cowboys fans remember Dak before Cooper. This year we get a better indication of his ability to throw with receivers actually creating some separation.

He doesn’t have to be Brady for the Eagles to be successful.

No, good corners don’t get picks because they don’t get thrown at.

And I’m acting like this is exclusive to Diggs because of the stat the previous poster mentioned: only CB in 40 years to have double digit interceptions. 1 pick, 2 picks, 3 picks… be diligent and they will come eventually. But 6+? 7+? 8+? ….11?

If he’s so talented at getting interceptions, better than any CB in the post-Staubach era, then why did he lay up in the second half of the season? Why did he have 7 in his first 6 games, and the only 4 in his last 11? Do you feel he was trying to send a message to Dallas? Perhaps it was spite against the coaching staff and/or ownership? Should he have been benched for his attitude problem?

OR is getting 11 interceptions for the first time in 4 decades largely a fluke and he does not entirely control when and where he gets picks? Play good football and hope for the best. It’s based as much on the D around him, the team he’s playing, the psychology of the coach he’s playing, the QB’s current health, there’s an extraordinary about of probability reduction in maintaining that pace.

If it’s no fluke, is he also going to be the second CB in 40 years to get double digit INTs in 2022? The problem with that question is 11 INTs is good enough to make the all-pro team even with a coverage rating of 45th best in the league. But if he gets 3 next year? 4? Even 5? It won’t even be close to good enough. His rep right now is entirely based on the turnovers, if he doesn’t have those people outside Dallas don’t even remember which Diggs he is. So my point is both Bradberry and Slay have built their reputations on something far more concrete than a flukey stat accumulation.

Probability dictates….

Top front 7? Who are their linebackers? Their defensive ends are JAGs. Pro Bowl cornerbacks?:lmao2::lmao:
Linebackers are Kyzir White, Nakobe Dean, Haasom Reddick, and TJ Edwards. Both Slay(2021) and Bradbery(2020) are Pro Bowl Corners.

As an Eagles fan I read these forums often but rarely post. Diggs was all-pro last year. No need to diminish that guy. The two Dallas players I would love to be on the Eagles are Parsons and Diggs.

They don't have to be "that good".

Because the Cowboy, Giants, and Commanders aren't going to be "that good" either.

The Eagles have the best overall roster then in NFC East on paper as of today. They did before they signed Bradberry.

BINGO...that s exactly the thought process of Booger and Chuckles.

Not exactly positions of weakness for us, but yeah In a perfect world all the best players are on the same team.

The eagles could sign me an overweight diabetic who can't run more than 5 seconds before theyre gassed as the starting Free Safety and this board would throw a fit saying the Eagles are making great moves while the cowboys are doing nothing and that JayFord isa great player who we need to worry about

Looking at both teams right now, the Eagles have a better roster than the Cowboys. They have a better offensive line. A better defensive line. They have better depth on the DL too. Their LBs could be as almost good as what Dallas puts on the field. Slay is an excellent CB. The Safeties maybe be a little better on Dallas's roster.

The Eagles have a better offensive line, better TE, WRs are probably better than Dallas's now too. The Cowboys have Pollard and Zeke which might be better than the Eagles RBs but the Eagles will run the ball better as they did last year.

The difference between these two teams is the QB, and we have been complaining about Dak the entire off-season. If Hurts improves a little the Eagles are going to win the division easily. All Hurts has to do is not give the ball away.

Both would be an upgrade. As for positions of weakness I would rather wait till the games are played. Cowboys have had their way with the Eagles in recent history. No doubt the eagles should be better but "should" and "will" are two different things. They were 3 games ahead of the Eagles in the win column. Granted the last game the Eagles played Dallas last year they rested their players but I don't think there was any chance they would have beat them regardless.
