Mavs may have been in a post stompalooza malaise. Dubs with an easy win.

As an aside, if I’m the Dubs I try to find a way to package Wiseman and maybe a 1st to the Kings for Sabonis.

I think Bamba might be a better get for you guys if Orlando doesnt want to match. Similar player to Timelord, but a year behind in trajectory. Still has upside as a shooter. He is probably a mid level contract guy for a guy that could be top 10 in DMVP voting next year. Dont think it wouls cost Wiseman to entice Orlando not to match either

After all the injuries and additions, the Warriors are back and playing like their "old" selves. Just at the right time.
Great display tonight, limited turnovers, ready and focused. And more.

It seems the Warriors like to build through the draft then add on. Haven't watched Sabonis play to tell you the truth but its been awhile, coz being on the West side, watched some of the Zags games. Kind of see your point, which probably isn't wrong.

Sure want to see Poole, Kuminga and Wiseman play together, along with whoever comes.

Bamba is a good call; still just 23 years old. He had a sneaky good year (shot 38% 3P?!?!). I think Wiseman’s floor is Bamba though, so I’m not sure it moves the needle. Conversely, I think his ceiling is a Sabonis type player. I just have reservations about his trajectory.

Yeah but they gave up a player for him they didn’t just draft him.
Yup but the trade was made before the draft even started.
Only goofy NBA rules made it happen as it did where Indy had to announce the pick.
They knew they were taking Kawhi for Pop.
At the time Kawhi was seen as a great defender with and NBA body but no range.
Pop identified him as the piece they needed to buoy the aging Spurs and guard LeBron.

Gotta say kinda weird flex here to have me talk up the Spurs as the model small market team.

Dubs FO should be praised for being savvy in signing D’Angelo Russell and flipping him to the Wolves for Wiggins + 1st rounder that turned into Kuminga.

They should be chided for not having the foresight to pick-up a big man for the playoff run. I still think that will ultimately do them in this post-season.

The only players they have on the roster over 6’-9” or taller is Looney and Bjelica. Looney is a solid defender but limited role player and Bjelica offers little in terms of defense and inside scoring.

Epic comeback by the Dubs; championship grit.

Mavs can’t hold a 19-point lead.

The arena will be rockin back in Dallas for Game 3.

Looney catching lots of people by surprise. Both rebounding and...scoring.

Said it all year: if this Warriors roster stays relatively healthy, they’re winning it all.

It’ll all be over soon, Mavs.

As a Dubs fan Looney is maddening to watch sometimes. He may be the most unathletic player in the league (due to his chronic hip issues), but he is a good team defender, solid rebounder, and high IQ in facilitating the Warriors offense

that choke feels like a series ender, sweep?

Nah, I can easily see the Mavs winning at least two games this series.

The Mavs live and die by the three; they’ve literally shot twice as many 3s than the Dubs in their two games. All it takes is a hot game from them behind the arc and the Warriors having a dud (which they’ve shown can happen).
