The concern about him playing outside for extended periods of time is whether or not he can hold up against bigger, stronger cornerbacks. There are some that believe he will have no problem, some that want to take a wait & see approach. I'm that one.

Hopefully this OC and McCarthy will move him all over the field in order to get him mismatches and favorable coverages. For whatever reason, this team doesn't do what others teams do when they have a number 1 WR...come up with ways to get him the ball instead of being dictated to by a defense.

If Gallup missed the first half of the season, and CeeDee is in the slot, who are your outside WRs?

Tolbert and… Washington?

If he wants some huge contract he has to prove he can consistently play outside.

If he puts up big numbers he’ll be in line for a big contract no matter where they play him. With no Amari Cooper, Cedric Wilson or Gallup to start the season he’ll be drawing a lot of attention.

If he's in the Slot who are you putting on the outside? Pollard? He's gonna need to step up and the only way that will happen is if he shows he can out play the CB's on the outside. So he'll probably have his time in the slot, but you will probably see him lined up outside as much as we did cooper last year.

If he only produces in the slot that's dumb to pay him but Jerry is dumb so.....

He is a slot receiver. He is dynamic there and with the ball in his hands. But, IMO, he doesn't have the the size, strength or route running ability to be on the outside consistently. Unless the Tolbert (or some one else) steps up big time, they will miss Cooper.

If he produces in the slot someone’s going pay him. We can’t keep moving on from talented receivers because of money.

That is when game plans matter He can play both roles, but tne coaches need to figure it out

Someone else can. He better take his butt in both slot and outside abd do consistent work and not just go balls. He was billed as this great route runner. Well prove it

Of course CeeDee will be drawing lots of attention, hale fellow.
But, unfortunatly for the big lug, he is stuck with a flighty, seemingly inconsistent Dak who rocket arms 15-yard passes and expect all to have refined hands and acrobatics.

No, bland men and hirsute gals, Dak is a comfort reciver guy.
Thusw, Schultz could have a year comparable to any of our WRs.
Look, me beloved hooligans, Under Rogers or Burrow, CeeDee is all pro. With Dak, he is JAG.
