Some could say arm strength could be comparable, locker room presence, I would say team leader, but Im not seeing that respect being dished out by other notable and respected players on this team.
Dak is this teams QB, and nobody other than a total fool that plays on this team would say something even remotely negative towards Dak.
Coop did it, and Coop was smart enough to say it at a very appropriate time, Coop wanted out of this mess.
Peeps can bang on Coop all they want, and say what they want about him, but one thing you can not dismiss is that Coop does a very good job at preserving his tenure.
Coop more than likely would have been re signed had he not vocalized his displeasure.

Kind of a double standard. When some QB’s throw 350 yards and 4 TDs, they’re good. When others do it, people say it’s only because the team had to play catch-up.
Dak has 3 games in his 6 year career where he has thrown for at least 350 yards and 4 TDs and we're 2 -1 in such games. (The one loss absolutely was one of those catch-up games you're talking about. We were down 41-14 entering the 4th quarter against the Browns that game).

Mahomes has 7 games in his 5 year career with at least 350 yards and 4 TDs and the Chiefs are 6-2 in such games.

The lesson is throw for 350 yards and 4 TDs and you have a good shot at winning.

Point 1: Mahomes played in 73 games, Dak only 56 and Dak still has him beat in 400 yard games.

Point 2: Mahomes has a god-like receiving unit. Dak has a very good receiving unit but it doesn't compare to Mahomes'. Kelce + Hill > by far anyone we got. Cowboys are receivers by committee. Chiefs have a receiving unit that have been proven unstoppable by 31 teams.

Point 3: Wins are a team accomplishment, so Mahomes didn't win those games on his own.

Again, Mahomes > Dak overall because of his Super Bowl and his postseason accomplishments, but lots of his games are simply because Chiefs are good enough to jump ahead and beat teams without Mahomes needing to do much. Cowboys has a bad defense most of the times, 0 dominant D-linemen, a used up starting running back, and an O-Line that blew the SF playoff game badly. Mahomes O-Line was horrendous in the Super Bowl, but at least they chose the last game of the year to be bad in.

Thoughts?

Slow May? Don’t worry. Dak has already had chances to prove his quality. SF game with 4 minutes left was another opportunity and he could not get it done. SF has a great defense, so not a complete condemnation.

Dak is a decent QB, but there is no use comparing the two. Pat is elite. Gotta perform better against the best teams in the biggest games more often if you want to sit at that table.

Who cares that Patrick Mahomes control perfect pass out of his ***. You put Prescott on that team and he wins also. Most overrated quarterback ever Patrick Mahomes

Is Mahomes going on the list with Aaron Rodgers of QBs that Prescott is better than?

I think it will become a Jerry Jones thread
Lol, definitely, or a McCarthy bashing thread. My thoughts is Dak is not Mahomes but Dak can win a super bowl with the right supporting cast. And I think I'm a Dak "hater" but reality is reality. Dak can win a super bowl if the team can win a super bowl.

The dude says in the title that he’s not saying Dak is better. That doesn’t stop ***holes from repeatedly telling him he’s not better.

He’s posting a stat that he betters the best QB in the league in to make the point that Dak isn’t as bad as some here say he is.

This actually upsets some.

The chiefs are 6-2 in 7 games? That’s amazing, but seems unfair.

If Dak played in the Chiefs division he might not have any 400 plus yard games. You also have to look at how Dak and Mahomes perform in playoff games. Big difference!
good point. but we can't assume those 400 yard games were against division foes...but I wonder which games they each had 400 yards and what was the final outcome. usually when you get to that number, you are either in a shoot out or trying desparately to come from behind.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
A long time ago in a galaxy far away, a fansite member innocently clicks on a thread title, reads the opening post, mutters 'CRAP!', and immediately leaves the thread disgusted--never to return.

The End.

Meanwhile on CowboysZone, a member sees a thread title, says bleepity-bleep-bleep, clicks on the link anyway, skims the opening post, says bleepity-bleep-bleep, clicks a button to reply or post, types why the thread is bleepity-bleep-bleep, submits the post, scans for other posts, says bleepity-bleep-bleep, repeats the cycle for hours, days, sometimes weeks and squats inside the thread indefinitely.

Not really The End (by choice).

Dak not better than Mahomes but hes far better than many of the hater trolls here have him. Mahomes is on better team with better coaching staff and apparently by this places opinions a better FO and GM etc

darks great qb regardless of the zones opinions now Mahomes is Elite but the gaps not as large as haters say it is..they are blind to our TEAM issues..

That GB defense was allowing 400 plus yards in multiple games going into the playoffs, had third string CBs off the street and got walloped by Atlanta the next week and we were playing at home..

Aaron Rodgers carried that hobbled GB team into the playoffs while that defense sucked and nobody expected that GB team to even make the playoffs midway through the season.

Riled up? Dak hasn’t won anything.. Mahomes has multiple Sb appearances and AFC championship games.

that team definitely could have gotten to the SB of Romo was staring with that All pro OL and RG. But then we decided to start the guy who completely sucked and took a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3.
yeah....I am not faulting a rookie for losing in the playoffs in a close battler to super duper Rodgers

Remember this dude named Jerry Rice who made an above average arm like Steve Young look elite?

Mahomes has two receivers that resembles Rice more than anyone we got. Mahomes has a far better arm than Young, but see what happens when you have elite weapons like he does? We've never seen Dak with an elite receiver before. Once (or if) Dak has an elite receiver, we'll see who he really is!!

Why delete this?
Probably best to wait until this season is complete to judge Mahomes and the "elite" talent that he has. Hill is gone to Miami. Kelce, while still a top TE is on the wrong side of 30 and will slow down soon. Maybe not this year, but soon. They don't have anybody on their roster that can do what Hill does, so that will create a void. there were many times when Mahomes got in trouble and just heaved it, knowing Hil was down there. My brother-in-law likes to say that KC plays school yard football. OL breaks down, Mahomes runs around and heaves it to Hill. Without Hill, they can't do some of those things. Hardiman is good, but I see him as in a similar situation that CD is in. The clear #1 is gone, can he step up and be the lead dog when he is getting coverage rolled to him? Will Kelce still be able to find the soft spots in the defense now that more eyes will be on him? Should be interesting in KC this season.

That said, I take Mahomes every single time over Dak. And I like Dak.
