I answered the proving part in my first response to you.

My belief does not require proof, so I don't need to prove it.

"What is truth," is a very good question, maybe the best question, and I believe/know I have found the answer
If the world is flat, why do we have oceans? Would that water just fall of the face of the Earth. What's stopping everything from going overboard? And what about earthquakes? Could the world split in two if the earthquake was big enough? Surely you believe in volcanoes. What's hearing the magma?

You are the odd ball of the group here. So if you want to convert our train of thought then you need to provide proof of your allegations. Not the other way around.

I don't think I can convert anything, I do like to periodically tell the little "theory for everything" Stephen hawkings my viewpoint.

I don't think any of you can personally prove or disprove anything you talk about or that I would talk about.

As far as my view, it is a debate that has been going on for thousands of years, and a Google search will give you different Earth cosmologys. I think there is a firmament, and therefore a different system in place.

I do like your writing, "convert", water falling of the earth, a t-bone on the hook

Like I said previously, I can prove the Earth isn't a flat disc, with the sun and moon circling around the center, by drawing a line on flat ground and putting a straight stick into it, pointed at the sun every hour. If the flat Earth model was right, the sun's path would be a half circle, rather than a straight line.

Also, if you take time lapse photos of the stars above from the North Pole and time lapse photos of the stars above from the South Pole, they rotate in different directions. There's no possible way that can happen on a flat Earth, but it's perfectly explained by a globe.

Have you done any of this stuff, or are you deducting conclusions off of other ideas and claims..

The half moon/stick experiment would only prove that experiment correct if the drawing you showed of the circuit of the sun and moon were correct, and assuming the sun and moon stay level and don't move up and down

Have you been to the south or north pole? Have you been to a location where every direction points north on a compass?

Why would the altitude of the sun (which is the factor in the experiment) matter? And now I believe you're just being intentionally obtuse to even say that. As for the North and South Poles, why would I need to go there? First, there have been so many people, aside from scientists, etc, who have been there and taken photos. Second, you don't need to go all the way to the poles. North and South of the equator will do.

Boo!!

The telescope's giant mirror was hit by a micrometeoroid. From what I read, it did do a tiny bit of damage, but nothing that makes the satellite inoperable. NASA was quoted that "the telescope is still performing at a level that exceeds all mission requirements despite a marginally detectable effect in the data," according to the Webb team.

NASA is still on track to share their first high-resolution, full-color images from the telescope on July 12.
