I didn't realize Urban was 31 years of age. He's coming off a serious injury, as well.

It should be interesting to see how he fares w/the Ravens. I think he had a bum hip.
I didn’t realize he played for us since he was injured for most of the year, lol.

Me too, but after the draft, I figured there was no room for him.
He was an underrated good player for what he brought to the defense. Once he went out, the run defense suffered more than it had.
Yep, hopefully they are seeing something in the Rookies at Camp to make them pass on signing some Vet free agents.

We picked him up to play that 5-tech role in the pseudo-3-4 (run defense) looks. Watkins also can be a 5-tech (since he played that in the 3-4 in Houston), but we were forced to use him a lot at nose tackle last year. If Ridgeway or Bohanna pick up that slack, I wouldn't be surprised to see that be Watkins' main role. Odighizuwa also can play the 5, though, but we played him more at the 3-tech spot last year because of Gallimore's injury. A healthy Gallimore could have Osa playing a lot more 5-tech in those fronts, and both being the primary interior pass rushers in the nickel unless we go with some "smalls" there to get more quickness.

Things didn't go as planned for Brent Urban last season. The former fourth-round pick joined the Dallas Cowboys as one part of what might've been another notch under the team's belt in an overachieving free agency haul in 2021, looking to help bolster a run defense that was in dire need of it. He'll now hit the reset button on those hopes, but not in Dallas, instead agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens, as reported by a very reputable source -- his wife, Kate Urban, via Twitter.

I was hoping they would bring back Urban. But looking at the roster, after the draft, there was no room for him. If they did not draft Ridgeway, to see what he has. I think Urban would have been the option there.
