I'm not saying Dak is better than Mahomes

We have a lot of box score lookers here that clearly do not watch the games.

Stats can be very misleading, but some will use them as the gospel.

It's the same people that probably think Willie Keller is a better hitter than Barry Bonds because his career batting average is higher.

When your argument lives and dies by personal stats then you show your lack of knowledge on things.
Matt's not going to date you.

lmao...Guess what? You seem to still be interested.
They can't get enough of my thoughts and opinions. I mean, look at the conversation about me going on that I'm not even a part of. I'm rent free in their heads.

They could easily ignore me, but they'd rather whine to me instead.

They're going to be real butthurt when I start ignoring their cries.

"Dak can't throw more than 40 yards"
"Dak can't beat good teams"

He won on the road against Ben Roethlisberger. He beat Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau that season. He has a playoff win over Russell Wilson and he’s beaten Drew Brees. He’s beaten a lot of good teams and QBs but the idiots on this board try and spin that what happened last year has been going on his entire career.

He did?

Is HE also the reason that in the past 6 years we have 1 Wild Card win, or is that a team thing?

Im not spinning anything! What Dak did was sickening. They needed that game to make the playoffs and he choked bad.
Choking would be not winning the game.

Choking would be not performing your best in the 4th quarter with the pressure on.

Again....spinning yourself into the dirt.

He was able to overcome the team thing in 2016 because we had a great running game and the best OL in the entire league. However he couldn’t overcome his defense in the playoffs that year. It wasn’t all about him in 2016 having to carry the team and throw for 300+ a game. He was still able to manage 11 wins last season with no running game, a crap OL and a defense that gave up more 30+ yard plays than any defense in the league. There isn’t another QB that would do any better with the team and coaching he has. Last season he had the same number of TD passes as Pat Mahomes but had a higher completion percentage and passer rating. Put him on the Rams and he would’ve won the Super Bowl last season. Dak is having a deal with the same problems Tony Romo did. It’s not the QBs we’ve had it’s the management and coaching.

I was nice enough to do all that work for you and you're going to be ungrateful because you don't like what it shows? My advice would be to look this stuff up yourself before you ask someone else to do it for you, because then you'll know before hand if you like the data or not.

Not cool, dude. Not cool.
No. I prefer you. And you deserve credit for producing information.

You did a very good job and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work. (We can work together on your analysis/conclusions from the info)

That fact that you don't understand how hypocritical you are ...is what is ridiculous.
It isn't hypocritical at all.

I have given Zeke credit on plenty of occasions. Even last year when he started the year playing well. I said he is playing at an acceptable level, not commiserate with his contract, but playing accepatable. A level we could win with.

Then he got hurt and killed us the rest of the year.

He would have been cut this year so fast it would make your headspin, but we can't because of how bad his contract is.

Dak is not playing bad in any way, shape or form. These haters don't give him any credit. NONE. That is the difference.

"He was able to manage 12 wins last year"?

"Put him on the Rams and HE would have won the Super Bowl last year"?

The way you talk Dak does it by himself. So, Dak has to be the reason for just 1 Wild Card win in 6 years, right?

*peeking in*

How is this still going
A pair or two (or more) of members go at each other personally (at times sans Cowboys / football info).
Enough back and forth to help fill out a page (20 comments).
Just the typical way a thread goes when the topic involves Dak Prescott.

He pretty much is doing it by himself. He’s had games where he’s had to put the ball up 50+ times. He had almost 600 passing attempts last season. He has one playoff win because our defense doesn’t show up in the playoffs. Our D choked against Aaron Rodgers after Dak brought us back in 2016. In the closing seconds with the game tied our defense gagged. In Dak’s only playoff win against Seattle our defense gave up another big play with the game on the line that gave Seattle a chance. In our last two playoff losses our defense has given up over 350 yards rushing. We’re getting beat in the trenches and that’s not our QBs fault. Not discussing this any further with you you’re a lost cause and a waste of time.
