he's 32 and would come with a 17+million cap hit this year, 18 million next year, 17 million year after that. we paid him 8mm for the 1 year he was with us
I dont see anyone picking up the phone
He had 18 sacks last year. Someone is going to to want him, and they will pay him

They already have Fowler, Williams, Lawrence, Armstrong, Basham, and Gholston. There is a player limit.

If I am the Cowboys FO I am on the phone now. Bringing Quinn back immediately upgraded the pass rush. Takes doubles off Tank, will help Williams grow & take pressure off Parsons.
I pass. He wanted out of wherever he was. Came to Dallas and didn't douch and wanted out and.now he wants out of Chicago. His run defense sucks...I mean sucks and his pass rush only good against bad teams and disappears in long stretches.

No need for him at all.

What is his current salary ?
This seems to be almost as important a factor as talent to this front office.
Which is good up to a certain point.

2022: 13m$
2023: 14m$
2024: 13m$

and because you’re not taking on any guaranteed money, what you can do is restructure 2022 and 2023 for..

2022: 2.6m$
2023: 5.3m$
2024: 18.3m$
2025: 5.3m$ (void year)
2026: 5.3m$ (void year)
2027: 2.7m$ (void year)

Cool, probably would not require much draft compensation

I used to like him. He can still get to the QB, but that would hurt Sam Williams chance to get on the field. Plus, Robert Quinn would be expensive, so I don't see Jerry & Stephen going for him.

I would rather try to bring in DT Ndamukong Suh as a rotational inside run stopper for around $5 mil.

He ain't going anywhere........unless you wanna spend a 1st round pick.

Interestingly, LaCanfora seems to believe the Bears could get more than what the Broncos were given by the Rams in the Von Miller trade. Remember, L.A. sent a second-round pick (64th overall) and a third-rounder (96th overall) to get Miller. And for what it’s worth, the Broncos turned that third-round pick into a 2022 fifth-rounder and a 2023 third-round choice from the Colts. In other words, that Miller deal paid off (and then some!)

shultz and Gallup this year proves otherwise
I guess I need to be more specific in my criticism of Stephen for those not in the loop. Cowboys are great at overpaying their own guys. They won’t pay any outsider more than backup money. Great strategy huh.

so your mad they won’t overpay for other peoples players?

would you be more happy if they let Schultz go and signed someone else’s TE?

Randy Gregory sucks against the run and had only 6 sacks last year and everyone was so mad at the Jones for not taking a clause out of his contract and paying him 15m per year.
Quinn is Gregory only more productive and a few years older.

A late round pick at best

So, if that's the price, then hard pass on a 32-year-old with maybe two left in the tank.

They're trying to be wise so they can sign the guys who make up the identity of our team. Our grit players, Diggs, Parsons, Lamb, Martin.

You guys will ***** if he spends money or doesn't spend money.
What is the identity of the team?
