He really should just shut his mouth. Every time he opens it, something stupid comes out.

Does he really expect fans to buy this BS about them being active in FA still as if to refute the claim they largely sit it out and suck at it?

This franchise was screwed with Jerry running the ship by himself. They are $%##$ed with Stephen running it after Jerry is gone.

Might as well sit back and don't be concerned about FA acquisitions - and S. Jones comments this time of year.
Follow (or not) the OTA this week and those upcoming in June, along with the (mandatory) mini-camp.

Player acquisition happens throughout the whole entire season. It's a year round process. No team is ever done with free agency. Ever. So why look at Stephen's comment as if it's a surprise or a promise?


If we feel we need too. We will bring in more players. It's that simple. Quit putting the cart before the horse.

Yep, I ponder this mystery most every day.
Maybe we need a word decoder for Stephen like we do for his pops ?

The Jones’ thrive on telling the fans that they are doing some incredible moves to make the Pokes Better. Do not buy into that BS. They have served mediocrity for 26 years and not only gotten away with it but raised ticket prices, food prices and merchandise. Making your Dallas Cowboys the most valuable sports franchise in the World!!
Yes, Stephen is not done yet. He has more turns of the shell game that he and his pops have mastered.

They mastered 12 and 5 last season. How many teams did better than what they did.

It's simple math. They have one roster spot open now, just one. That means they can sign 1 more player. If they sign 2, they would have to cut 1. They currently have a good roster. They aren't going to sign a player that they don't currently need.
