Hasn't been suspended yet.

Watson hasn't been suspended but he didn't miss the entire 2021 season by accident. Had Houston activated him he'd have been put on the Commissioner's exempt list in minutes.

The fact is, he's already lost an entire season of his career over this case. He's probably going to lose more when it's said and done. It was foolish of him to get into this situation.

Cleveland has never been to a Super Bowl. Not 1.

Cleveland won the last NFL Championship before the Super Bowl was invented, something that sticks with Browns fans to this day.

They have a full roster of dlinemen. I wouldn't call any of them low level scrubs at this point.
Yeah, I know you wouldn't. You're an exceedingly positive outlooker for this team.
I can respect that, but they not only don't have to cut someone from the Dline to accommodate (they can cut someone else, if need be), but (IMO) that interior dline is no great shakes.

That's fair money for Clowney. He's stout against the run too.

I'd rather have Clowney for one year at $11M than be tethered to a guy who can't reliably pass a urinalysis for $70M with a huge chunk of that guaranteed.

Keep in mind that most of the people here wanted to give Randy Gregory 14 million a year on a long term deal.
Yes.....there are a lot of low IQs here who wanted to give the Pothead an outrageous contract.

I'm not sure it was "most people" though.

I am one who is thankful that Denver took him off our hands. We dodged a bullet with that dumb contract.

They are not cutting to add a dlineman now. They could add later if they have an injury.

Never wanted Clowney. Even when he was coming out.
Always thought he was talented but lazy.
He was recruited by Nick Saban, but I contend he didn't want to go to Alabama because he didn't want to work.
He had that one hit against the Michigan running back and coasted on that to a high first-round pick in the NFL draft.
He's never lived up to the hype.

I agree. One of the most overrated and overhyped draft picks of all time.

Looks like Tarzan. Plays like Jane.

And for some odd reason, teams still like to give him 1 year $10 million contracts…..
