Remember when the rookie for Green Bay (I think) got a career ending injury in a flag beach football game at the Pro Bowl?

They might go harder in this than the actual game.

I wish I could find the post I made during this past Pro Bowl saying they should make it touch football game because that’s basically what it’s become. They’re moving closer to doing away with the Pro Bowl game.

The game is garbage. If they keep doing any kind of all star recognition, turn it into a punt/pass/kick/skills competition and eliminate the facade that they are playing an actual game.

Even the pro bowl skill challenges are becoming a joke. Some of the players don’t even put any effort in those. Tyreek Hill just jogged through the fastest man race. It’s obvious players just go there to have some fun and goof around. Years ago players took the pro bowl game and the skill challenges seriously. I’m sure the pro bowl ratings are getting worse every year. Most fans don’t care to watch the game.

I haven't watched a pro bowl or allstar game since forever. I don't even watch the highlights. A preseason game is a game that doesn't count. But the players are trying, and it means a lot to certain players, so I'll watch some. But a game that doesn't count with players that aren't trying? Why would anyone watch that? Dump it.

Briefly I started watching MLB Allstar games because they put WS home field advantage on the line. They ended that condition, and I no longer watch. No biggy to me.
