Larry Browns interception in the SB against the Steelers to ice the game when it looked like the Steelers could win. I could not have handled another SB loss to them...

Since we already have MUCH more than our fair share of rehashed moments of teeth gnashing (even a current thread catering to Eeyore angst), how about one dedicated to those glorious moments of Cowboy triumph?

The Hail Mary vs. Minny?
The first SB win?
Emmitt’s Ironhorse game vs. NYG?
Our 52-17 beatdown on Buffalo?
Zeke’s Steeler-killing TD?
Embarrassing Philly?

What’s YOUR fave?
I will always love Alvin Harper's clutch catch and TD from Bernie Kosar in the 1993 NFC Championship Game. That was an absolute nail in the coffin for the 49ers.

Harper's slant from Aikman a year earlier in the 1992 NFC Championship game launched a Dallas dynasty.

Rocket Ismael's shot from Aikman in their new stadium in 1999 was absolutely SWEET!

Not many Cowboy fans talk about the Robert Newhouse Halfback Option Pass to Golden Richards in Super Bowl XII. To me, that is still the greatest single pass in Super Bowl history.

The first Super Bowl win. I experienced the first two NFL championship losses to Green Bay, followed by two years of the great Cleveland disasters, the joke that was Super Bowl five. Winning Super Bowl six was glorious.
That's my story yo a " T " !

Lilly 29 yard sack for loss of Bob Griese SB6 which sealed the game. Followed very close by Ken Norton stuffing Kenneth Davis at the goal line SB27, Cowboys took momentum there and never looked back.

In recent memory....either the zeke run against pit to win that game or the dak run against Seattle to set up the w....

The old stuff is too much to choose from!!!!
I would pick Daks run against Seattle. Not too many playoff moments for me to choose from, but that was a great run against a physical Seattle D

Not really my most favorite memory but cetainly one of the most memorable. Went to see the KC chiefs in the early 90's at Texas Stadium. Back when they had Christian Okeye, they were kicking our *** in the 3rd quarter and doing the Tommahawk chant.

Well, by the end of the 4th quarter we pulled it out as usual in the early nineties. As everyone walked back to the parking lot to their cars, thousands of Cowboy fans started doing the Tommahawk chant,. One of the best miles I ever walked.

I stick by my game moment of Daks run but my favorite game would have to be destroying the Eagles in the 2010 playoffs. Dominant Offensive and Defensive game. That was my first playoff win in my memory. I was only 4 in 1996 against the Vikings, so 2010 was it for me

My greatest moments had to be meeting Staubach when he was a Rookie and I was a teenager getting his personal autograph pic to me. I have many autographs but his and Toms are my fav’s.

And finally meeting Landry at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes the year after he retired sitting at the table right behind him. I brought my SB XIII program which he signed the cover. I told him of my uncle, his and our families relationship with Lilly who provided us his tickets to SB. We visited for at least 5 minutes.

Still 40-50 years later my greatest treasures from a lifetime of Cowboys Football.

Way too many plays.
But 3 that stand out to me that I thought of right away. Several mentioned already.

The 1992 NFCCG with the slant to Harper. That sealed it. I knew right then we were going to win that game. That play was supposed to been for Irvin, but they lined up on the wrong side. Or Harper did, but Irvin said he wasn't going to say, hey you are lined up wrong, as it was a critical moment, and did not want to give away the play, or something like that.

When Ken Norton Jr. stuffed Kenneth Davis at the goal line in SB 27, preventing a TD. Then Thomas Everett intercepted the pass in the end zone the next play. I knew then, they were going to win.
Today rules Norton would be penalized for a hands to the face call.

SB 28, Emmitt was frustrated most of the game. And was still dealing with the separated shoulder to a degree. It wasn't so much the last play, but the entire drive. They came out and crammed the ball right down the Bills' throat. I think it was 9 plays, 8 runs by Emmitt, and a short pass to the Moose. The 10 yard TD run by Emmitt on I think a 3rd and 9, and a gutsy call. As he broke 3 tackles and scored. That broke the Bills desire and pride. Emmitt took off his helmet and was very emotional and animated. I knew then we would win.

My Elf Archer was in this terrible position, being ambushed by an organized goblin patrol that over-leveled me by a solid 1-2 near the Forgotten Realms of... I don't remember.
I rolled so many 20's, I knew the Gads were by my side, sitting on my shoulder.

Best game of my...

Aikman to Harper: Catch II
After that game, I had little doubt Dallas would not only win the Super Bowl but win all other meaningful games.
That 49ers team was great, and we manhandled them.

Some defender celebrating recovering a fumble runs by Fredbeard, and Fredbeard nonchalantly hits the ball out of his hands, without batting an eyelash.

A player perfectly under control, with attitude and the chops to back his attitude. So sad he had to retire.
