That's a good answer, especially when it's pertaining to one of your teammates, and best friends. It's not the right answer, but a good answer nonetheless :) when healthy Zeke is definitely better as any player would be, but he is not the best at the position when healthy, that time has passed.

Elliott might belong in the upper tier when healthy but he hasn't shown the home-run skills to be considered the best. He's a back who will get you 4 when he should have only gotten 1 or 2 and will get you 20 to 30 when he should have taken it to the house. Frankly, I prefer a starting back who is always falling forward over one who is home run or bust, but the lack of home run in his game keeps him from being the best.

To be quite candid, I'm saddened that this FO will wait until 2023 to take advantage of the many outstanding RBs that could be available then.

Being honest compels me to admit that Jerry and Stephen are being foolish by waiting so long to attend to what should've already been done!

That's right. He was forced to say he's the best running back in the league.

Good stuff. Keep em coming.

He wasn’t forced to say it he’s about saying all the right things.

Before he got hurt he was 2nd in the league in rushing and averaging 5.3 yards a pop. He was behind only Henry in total yards but was a full yard clear of him in yards per carry. So he was no worse than the second best RUNNER while healthy and his blocking and receiving skills put Henry to shame. Sooooo......
